Vault Space, as usual
Its that time again, we need more vault space. Lots of new weapons, lots of reprised weapons. Don't say "cLeAn YoUr VauLt", do it constantly. Constantly a problem every other season, it's time to just make it 1000 slots.

6 RepliesSomething I'd like to point out is that there is over 100 exotic armor pieces between all 3 characters and 3 new exotics are released each season. So if you have good rolls for all exotic armors, that takes up about 1/6 of your vault.

You know why it's constantly a problem? Because y'all don't clean out your vaults. No matter how much space they add it'll never be enough.

People love to say ‘I’ve barely used any space people just need to delete crap!’, these are the same people complaining about drop rates in lost sectors having to farm an exotic they’ve gotten a top tier roll of 10 times but deleted since it wasn’t meta yet, how many fragile focus god rolls have been deleted and how many range finder god rolls have become useless?

8 RepliesBungie has already doubled the vault space and then added a extra 100 spaces. If Bungie did increase the vault space again how long would it be until you have filled it up and come back asking for more? No the issue is you need to start learning some item management skills.

Edited by Joulevette12: 5/27/2023 10:53:14 AMYea I agree with both sides with needing more space but do throw away weapons you don't plan to use You only need a Pvp and PvE roll duplicates more then 3 are unacceptable and just place holders even though bungie tryed to solve the space issue with crafting when it actually made it worse When it's kinda simple by adding more rolls to drop weapons so players don't need to have more then 1 weapon of they godroll

Also their is just naturally horrible weapons that i dont bother with. On a side note anything thats in a ritual playlist i keep one roll of just so i dont have to regrind out said ritual weapons (in my case the borrowed time from gambit) but if its a world drop and i know it sucks its auto delete. I also delete any armor thats not 60 or above.

2 RepliesCrafted weapons are adding to the problem too because once you lvl up a crafted Weapon your not going to delete it even if your 99% sure you'll never use it again because it took so long to lvl up

I agree. I collect the best useful roll for each. The game was designed to grind which makes zero sense if I can't keep. Those weapons were paid for with time and money. Also, when they change the meta I can retrieve those weapons like I have so many times before and just have at it. At least just make a customized blueprint that we can make and store and then just pay glimmer to have it reconstructed. I also store all my exotic armors for all three characters which adds us as well.

8 RepliesBuild-crafters and "future-proof myself" weapon collectors definitely need more space. Can you play the game with an empty vault? Yes. There's actually a video of a guy who had some kind of mental breaking point ( actually an interesting video and the guy seems cool) and deleted everything that couldn't be held on 3 characters. Not my place, not my right. Furthermore, it's perfectly ok to ask for something when you need it. I'm a weapon collector ( as trophies, which I have few left of, and don't keep more than one copy of something unless it's that good) and more so now, a build/stat crafter. I currently have 34 unique builds that span 3 characters and every subclass type. 7 of those are triple 100 stat, 5 more are only 1 tier away (100/90/100). 4 of them are for PVP, on the rare occasion I even play that anymore, but I made them so that I have something to use when I do. The point here is that in order to do what I'm doing, I have to keep extra armor that I wouldn't otherwise want or need in the off chance in syncs up with [u]4 other items[/u] to reach a stat goal I have or at a minimum, improve an existing stat split. Once I reach my goal, my intention is 100% to delete the overflow. I feel like the "hoarding" comments are often false and are simply mis-understood. So yes, my vault is pretty much full, but I'm not keeping items "just to keep" them like an actual hoarder does. I have an active plan, a sensible reason to have them, and would like more space so I have some additional breathing room to help accomplish what I would like to do. I'm a reasonable person as well, so I don't at all expect that to happen and I will probably have to make some choices to part ways on things I wish I didn't have to. I'll make it work. But like I said before, it's perfectly ok to ask when you need something.

Just like we do with exotics vault space fixed bungies balancing team well well 🤣 🤣 🤣 dont think they could handle it

1 ReplyExotic weapons you don't use can be deleted because you can safely reacquire them. Any good rolls of weapons you don't use but can craft should be deleted for the same reason. Use D2 Armor Picker to check what stat rolls of Exotic armour let you achieve specific stat totals and delete the ones you don't need. If there is something you haven't used in years and have no sentimental attachment to, get rid of it. Any old guns you haven't used will almost certainly have been power crept by newer options.

I’m fine with the space we have, I just wish we could organize it better. Something like Pokémon boxes where you can set the placement of items.
