Just beat a master lost sector for the first time SOLO on my first attempt!!
First off I must say I am not bragging but I am supprised AF.
I am a absolutely below average guardian, I firmly believe I am pretty pants at this game, I've been playing D2 since September 2017. Never done a raid, suck at pvp and avoid trials and the like like the plague.
I never expected to be able to tackle a master lost sector solo, without too much trouble
I play for the story and as a way to keep me sane from an otherwise stressful day as a carer.
So this really is a message to all you guardians out there like me, the average person who isn't a godlike raider or PVP sweat.
Be fearless. Hit those master lost sectors.. Dont let doubt cloud your mind. Get in there and KICK SOME -blam!-!!

Now that you have taken your first step into "endgame content" I recommend you go all the way, try raiding next. They're not hard, the loot is good, and with a good team raids are some of the most fun you can have in the game. I spend most of my time raiding and I teach rookies. You tell me what platform you are on, and I will join you there with friends and we will knock out a raid, any one you like. Or all of them. I stream raid helps with viewers and friends on Twitch on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Stop by and say you are looking for your first clear of any raid and we prioritize you as next run. This is an open invitation to anyone reading this, if you want to raid and just need a team, or want a chill group of teachers who will patiently teach encounters, or are just not happy with LFG, come see us. they were never hard to begin with as long as you were close to the recommended LL.

Perdition was a cakewalk on master. Didnt even use champ mods. Died once to my own grenade, did it under 3 minutes. Some builds are broken.

It’s all about having the right strategy and knowing where to place yourself, namely behind cover. Once you figure out the right strategy, right place to stand, right weapons to use, right subclass, it’s pretty easy to do the hardest content in the game. Thinking you are bad is the worst thing, you will BE bad. I used think I could never do a GM, now I solo them. BTW, I’m also bad at pvp. And godlike raider? Dude, raids are as easy as a regular strike, only need to think a little while you play due to mechanics. You could do one anytime no problem.

Congrats. Now do it flawlessly. Not as hard as it seems but time consuming. I recommend Doom of Chelchis (exlposive+dragonfly) and Cataclysmic (bait and switch) and whatever unstoppable you got for primary. Never get near a champion unless you can finish them and leave immediately.

1 ReplyWell done bud, with a decent build and the right guns they are very achievable. If you want some PVE advice: listen to Destiny Massive Breakdown: Podcast versus enemies For builds follow Plunderthabooty on YouTube and he will give you the best builds for your preferred class. I would suggest you go for survivability builds above damage builds. Perhaps once you are knocking these out left and right you may venture into something else difficult with some friends…. A dungeon perhaps…. A raid one day maybe??? Stay the course guardian, the skilled find accolades all to easily. True glory awaits the determined brave ones!

Grats. So that awesome feeling you have right now? Yeah the Streamers don't want you to have it. Because you only cleared that lost sector because of "power creep". You did too much damage. I can relate, played since D2 launch night, never touched trials and just play for the story. I used to enter raids for the exotics but I never enjoyed them and eventually stopped.
