You can monitor all the connections yourself at home, plus get more detailed info about what is causing lag spikes, capture logs for "proof", or whatever. No need to wait on game devs to implement it in their games. Juat stick a network tool oriented version of Linux on a cheap Raspberry Pi, connect it up and you're good to go.
