I wouldn’t worry about it too much. For those of us who actually played destiny since D1… know this will ultimately turn into disco ball clash, and most will completely ignore the objective.

1 ReplyExactly what i thought lol. IB is boring now, yes. But it's atleast "bearable" sine it uses a universal game mode giving all types of players something to do. Rift is WAY too specific and WAY too objective focused that literally noone will enjoy it long term. (Not like this games pvp can be enjoyed in any form anyways these days)

1 ReplyIt's going to be a nasty toxic garbage mode that doesn't really "work" as intended. It'll be somewhat enjoyable purely as change of pace for about 1 week before people hate it again. Same as D1. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Rift was okay in Destiny 1 but I think this game just isn’t built for it. Too much insane movement and stasis will make this mode a hot mess, I foresee. At least it’s a change of pace and IB isn’t permanently it.

I loved it in D1, so many team wipes from dunking the rift But rift in D2 i'm unsure about, the maps are a lot smaller and we move like were high on caffeine Not to mention the more crazy abilities and guns, a stack can just run all titans and farm the enemy team if they dare even peek
