Destiny Community will NEVER BE HAPPY.
I’ve been playing this game for years now and this is what happens. It’s a literal figure 8 when it comes to PvP and the community is to blame. You can sit there and say oh that’s crap it is just Bungie and there “aweful” system. This game goes from ability spam to weapons only ability spam weapons only and the community complains about ohhh not enough abilities and then they say ohhhh now enough weapon kills too many ability spams. And we are to blame. For everyone saying that it’s going to be like year 1 of D2 please just be quiet we don’t even know the times for each tier yet. Yes there are things that need to be fixed and tuned but just complaining about something that’s trying to be fixed and tuned into a good direction is making you look like a child so please do everyone a favor and stop:)

A lot of this is on bungie. The community isnt one voice, its like 100’s of voices, all wanting something different. Bungie has changed the direction of the game several times. This frustrates all sides, while also keeping them hanging on, hoping the game comes back to them. Bungie needs to pick a direction and stick with it. This would allow people who arent happy to move on. Or, They need to quit changing the game around what small outliers on each side want and focus on the massive group in the middle.

No gaming “community” will ever be happy cause all the gaming forums usually consist of are self entitled complainers who live unhappy lives. Check any forum. That’s why most companies respond to other outlets like Reddit and Twitter.

Tbh I think you can filter the complaints down to like 2 major complaints imo 1) dedicated servers from the start 2) separate pve from pvp balancing (they are starting to finally do in year 8) I think it would have prevented a ton of the sbmm vs cbmm crap and make it easier to tune. Separating pve from pvp would have allowed guns to be op as hell in raids etc. while not breaking pvp. I can take it down further than that. = bungie cheap and lazy

I'm pretty sure theyd change that stuff without the complaining. They look at the numbers and see what is used the most and nerf it and buff something under used. Rinse and repeat.

However, ignoring the fact that many times people don't just complain to complain but have legitimate reasons for doing so should not be disregarded. I find your labelling of these people as children is a tad harsh. Bungie is going through what I consider growing pains as they evolve their company and Destiny 2. The unfortunate side effect of this is there have been more times than reasonably expected that the in-game issues caused by attempts to change and refine things it has resulted in the game being unable to play as intended. The instability, server connectivity issues, frame rate drops, error coded out of activities resulting in temporary bans or loss of potential rewards due to non-completion of activity. These are heavy prices to pay for changes on top of getting used to the shifting meta and so on. I believe Bungie are falling short somewhat in their execution of in-game changes and this more than anything is resulting in the outcry from guardians. Exhibit A - shatterdive on hunters. The latest twab does look promising but it needs to executed with finesse to avoid more drama from the majority as apposed to the complaining outlier.
