Not to burst your bubble, but you do realize that this game is about a highly militarized protectorate organization whose sole purpose is to (and I quote) "strike back against the Darkness". That in and of itself is a pretty (as you put it) masculine end. So I would venture to say that a lack of "cutesy stuff" is less because of an actual failure on Bungie's part and more because of you perceiving (not entirely correctly, mind you) a failure on Destiny's part. That's not to say there aren't feminine aspects to the game. Quite the contrary. In two words: Mara Sov. Five more: Petra Venj and Ikora Rey. However, I doubt any of them would be engaged in Vanguard-related activities if they had a "cutesy" mindset. The upshot of this whole tirade is that it's not that the game has a lack of feminine armor, it's that the game doesn't really have so much of a need for such items. Granted, the game is i large part a masculinely inclined game. But is that not the nature of first-person shooters? The whole appeal of games like Fortnite and Apex (neither of which I play tbh) is that they are [i]shooters[/i]. You know, with guns. That go [i]bang! bang! bang![/i] and kill people. I think its not so much a discrepancy with the armor sets as it is a simple "this is the audience this game is targeting" sort of thing. Simply put, it's not the armor sets, it's the audience. That being said, there are already plenty of armor pieces that would definitely qualify as feminine, especially this season. Also, there are plenty of shaders that I would also label "cutesy". Go to the store archives (open the director, move left a few times, and then down a few times) and scroll right a bit. You should see an item labeled "Year 1 Shader Bundle" or something like that. You can purchase it for 1,000 Glimmer; it has plenty of "cutesy" shaders. Perhaps you might give it a try and see if you change your mind.

It's not that everything is overwhelmingly masculine it's just that a game where demon-like worm poop eating aliens and giant Darkness ships caused billions to die isnt exactly cheery. Guardians are soldiers. Female soldiers do not wear cutesy stuff do they? They wear stuff that is practical. There are plenty of cutesy stuff if you know where to look (Moonfang set, Celestial Set and Prophecy sparrow and ghost) but I dont think there should ever be TOO much cutesy stuff because it may ruin the theme and mood of the game, especially since we're supposed to be in a dark era of Destiny.

We do need more options, but there are some options to cherrypick through. If you choose shaders, projections, a ghost, and a butterfly or dragonfly ship, along with the most feminine armor you have, it gets the point across. My guardian wears black/dark shaders but I like to make my sparrows, ships, and weapons pink.
