Whats there to do in Destiny 2 now?
with the vanilla campaign and the first 2 expantions deleted whats there realy to do for us who dont have forsaken and the others when theres no main story anymore?

Edited by surreal089: 3/13/2021 7:52:01 PM1: Prophecy dungeon 2: Power level grind 3: Nightfalls when it's a vanilla/cosmodrome strike 4: Try to find lost sectors, and maybe even do master or legend difficulty 5: Triumphs and titles 6: Crucible, maybe even trials when bungie brings it back 7: Gambit grind for Bottom dollar which is a very good hand cannon 8: Upgrade your other characters, your titan and hunter and try out their subclasses and exotics 9: Chaperone exotic quest which you can get from Shaw Han 10: Have fun making builds with different mods, in fact you should go to Banshee right now and buy the Wrath of Rasputin mod 11: Complete exotic catalysts 12: Complete the seasonal challenges to get xp and get farther in the season pass 13: Explore the planets and the solar system 14: Don't forget, when you go to the tower, to get as many bounties as you can 15: If you ever get ascendant shards, either masterwork your armor OR buy exotics at the tower See, there's a lot . At least until you can buy all the dlc, which you should.

I have some mates from home who recently started playing but they didn't know what they could play when they got together. Gave me the idea for this video. It doesn't directly apply to f2p players but you can see a complete list of everything at 58 seconds. You can then compare it in game to what is available to you.

You mean free to play players? I think the idea is to treat free to play as an extended demo and if you enjoy the game then you’ll definitely get your money’s worth from the cost of the expansion.

This is exactly why they should stop removing content. I really don’t get their idea when it comes to this, a live service game can NEVER have too much content.

You know the free to play game is only intended to get you in the door and whet your appetite to try the new DLC & Seasonal content right? $60 a year + $10/season will get you loads of new content to play, and is the most cost effective investment in a pastime you can make. Stop whining about not having things to do and invest a little money. Problem solved.

Exactly. In D1 I replayed the story a dozen times. It was available to play. When a new person started, they had to get through it in order. It made sense and it gave context. In D2, we get trickle-fed "story" with a quick exchange between Osiris and Crow, then go do the latest horde mode in order to progress to the next trickle. In the last 2 days I've logged in, picked up bounties, then realized I just have no interest in the same crap again and again. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind the grind. But not if it's a pointless and unrewarding make-work exercise. I don't know where bungie plans to take this game, but most of it seems to get left by the way side.

Well since bungie refuse to move the trials rework up on the priority list leading to it getting canceled almost every weekend lets see theres uhhh....uhhhhh..uhhhhhh yeah nah i guess if you're able to do strikes or the raid over and over and over without getting bored there's that?

As someone who only has Forsaken because they deleted everything else I had, all I really found to do was a few bits of random leftover stuff that feels completely disconnected, and to run into stuff all over telling me to buy the expansions even through one has already been gutted of all gear like Forsaken was by sunsetting. I'd recommend just not playing D2 until we see if Bungie is going to keep deleting expansions. Because they've already said they're going to delete Forsaken. So yeah, go play other games for a year or two and see if Bungie starts making good decisions or keeps on flailing.

3 RepliesYou have a long way to go you have only played 13 days total on 2 platforms. You have enough content to keep you going for a long time your highest character is 1263. So you are not really qualified to make the above statement. The game has more to offer than just the main story.

Play trials once you get to the recommended light, shouldn’t be that hard to get a flawless since the game takes no skill.
