While I do think stasis is a cool addition to the game in a PvE wise look, in PvP it's under tuned and it broke the game. A few loose thoughts: 1. Stasis under tuning is no accident, it was made on purpose to [b]sell expantions[/b], as most people will gladly pay for 'cheesing' tools; Thats what stasis is, a [b]cheesing tool[/b]... 2. Bungie gets a permanent seat in the [b]hypocrisy[/b] bandwagon; Look we're sunsetting all your arsenal because of [b]power creep[/b]... And then they place an utterly broken mechanic that is clearly an exponential level of 'power creep'. 3. They destroyed any weapon based meta; New meta is obvious, ability/grenade builds and massive spam of stasis cheesing nades... 4. No nades in game can multikill/instakill kill like this trash stasis non-senses; So, do we see a future update with nades being pumped up? stuff like magnetic nades and friends to instagib? 5. Nades that fully shutdown supers? Come on... Supression grenade was never like this, it was a powerful tool in the hands of the skilled people... a gamble most time.... this stasis crap? it's cheese... My advice, everyone should buy the expantion and grab the non-sense cheese power creeping trash they placed in it and destroy everyones experience. Keep destroying everyone's experience until there's no one left on the crucible playlist and until no one feels like coming back to Destiny anytime soon during the rest of our happy and long lifes. For the PvE people, I hope it never gets nerfed down and that it brings you a lot of joy... But PvP is trash now... Beyond Light, the expantion that killed Destiny 2 PvP and no one does a bloody thing about it.

The freeze part when you get frozen is my biggest problem why loose nearly all your health breaking out. Also it takes far to long to break out .

The completely erased any sort of gun skill gap with one element... get used to it. Bungie doesn’t care a about pvp and if this Isnt a clear sign, I’m not sure what is.

It sad that for everything Bungie does right they do several things wrong that overshadow anything they do that's good. For instance I really like the changes to gambit and I like the new difficulties added to lost sectors. But both those things are over shadowed and ruined by how over powered and broken stasis is. Also it sucks how there are no more enhanced mods and a few of the other changes to mods kind of suck and make modding even worse now which overshadows how they removed elemental affinity.

I thought the problem with crucible in the weeks leading to beyond light was the lack of SBMM. But what the hell is this? I haven't won a match in 3 days. At least I felt decent before, but I haven't spent that much time dead ina match since I was a newbie. As of right now, I do not have the new expansion so I don't know the mechanics of stasis yet. I know, give it two weeks and Bungie will crank down a bit the power of the new exotics and possibly of stasis. The thing is that nothing works anymore. What's the point of sunsetting stuff if the meta is going to shift so much that only one or two exotic hand cannons, couple of 720 and Winged Vigilance are the only things mildly effective against the new stuff? Not everybody can shill out money the second new stuff is added. Maybe I'm just salty having to almost re-learn the gameplay but jeez

I have been playing and loving Destiny PvP since the D1 Alpha. I can't credit Bungie enough for so many years of fun and awesome content! But I absolutely cannot stand all the dang ice walls and getting frozen constantly in Crucible. I want to see how it plays out over the next few weeks, but It might be enough for me to call it quits. My play style has always been constant movement around the map, and it's fun killing to get frozen in place so often. Just stuck there. Doing nothing. In a FPS game. I want to be playing the hecking game, not static in ice! Witherhoard used to be my least favorite thing in PvP, now it is 10 times that all the ice and freezing in place nonsense

It has changed the game for the worse. Unbalanced and needs tweaked. On top of what already needed touched. However rewind a few months ago and complaints were rampant. This IS a direct counter to previous complaints. Unpopular opinion, but that’s exactly what D2 Yr1 was. Took over a year to undo and balance has been debatable ever since as well. My whole clan is done with PvP now. We’re not the best, but used to do D1 trials when it wasn’t BS, and still do it sometimes as well as IB quests. Now it’s only for powerfuls and out as fast as possible. It’s not just stasis but the shit story, and lack of aspiration as Bungie puts it, that is driving us away. Who write this and put the scenes together!? Most 10 year olds could have done better

Mabey its just a console thing for me but I don't find stasis any more annoying then any other ability or super. Yeah the freeze timer could probably be brought down or quite frankly have it tap b/○ instead of hold but I think its fine.

Guess what I played crucible. Guess what annoyed me the most. It wasnt people freezing me. It was the usual butthugging teamshooting that bad players stick to and think their good. That and getting thrown into matchs that were halfway over.
