They said they fixed it. They deployed a fix today. What really happened was they were trying to fix the Spire of Stars exploit where it drops often because of a bug. They fixed that glitch. They worked fast on that one when they saw Aztekcross' video about the exploit. They really don't want you to use exploits and farm it. They hate you when you cut corners on their grind design. But then, they don't want another outcry from the community for fixing the glitch so quickly. So, they added some minor change and decided to increase the drops for the event on all activities by 0.004 and call it a fix! Bungie Logic! (If you're a slow Fanboi, you won't realise this is satire, so you'll be triggered!) LMFAO!

1 ReplyI got an idea... Just give us a damn gun to drop each tree completion. Would rather run 45 of them for the triumphs and mummy gear than do what I'm doing now in HOPES for a gun in the roll I HOPE to get using a cipher I hope to get. Its Halloween season a personal favorite of mine. I'm cool if the MAX grind is 45 forest clears which in a 22 day span isn't HORRIBLE. But this is. I was on the moon cranking out patrols for 2 hours yesterday ready to beat my head in to a wall because I'm on the moon doing the same things I've done all year and got ZERO Ciphers. So that's two hours spent with no Ciphers, to open no chests, for no chance at a gun, and a gun with a good roll at that. Wait are these being sun set? I didn't even look. Probably don't want to know that answer. This is laughable. Taking my favorite holiday and an event I always personally found fun and making it this hair pulling grind fest that makes me feel better not playing.

Thats the end goal of the sequel. It's kinda like the sequel trilogy let's take everything you loved shit on it and make you hate the series in general.

1 ReplyYea this drop rate absolutely SUCKS. If we're having to grind this much even a guaranteed drop rate for completing one playlist task will be a hard sell, let alone rng for the drop, to rng for the gun to drop, then rng for the roll of the gun.... i'm thinking i'm not gonna do this

With only 1 day into the event and Forums everywhere are flooded with Hamster Wheel grind complaints. LMFAO! Game is so empty even the FREE content event they come up with feels like a Digital Slavery grind! LMFAO!!! Bungie Logic! - never cease to amaze me!!!
