Make a Primary only Crucible playlist
Name says it all. I am tired of playing against knuckledraggers who'd rather manipulate broken ammo economies with instant-kill weapons and exploit hilariously bad sniper flinch physics than enjoy the amazing feeling gunplay in this game. Every gun feels good to use, but not against cheap tactics like the exploitation of special weapons that is saturating every aspect of Crucible.
Nobody likes dueling a sniper only for them to pull of an impossible headshot because the game has a terrible flinch system. Nobody likes sliding around a corner only to be hit with a pre-charged fusion rifle. Nobody likes being mapped by a high impact shotgun. And so many people disliked being insta-killed by Mountaintop that it's one of the reasons weapon sunsetting is a thing.
So, make a playlist where folks don't have to worry about this kind of stuff. You can have the guns equipped (if you choose), but you start with no special ammo, and no special ammo spawns for the entire match. Nice and simple.

3 RepliesVanilla D2. Everything that is now a special or heavy weapon was a "power weapon", and used heavy ammo. The game was dull---it was team shooting fest with no room for any sort of display of individual skill----and the community HATED it. [i]When the gods wish to punish us, they give us what we pray for.[/i] Because if you dislike going up against someone with a OHK weapon in the current sandbox? Getting constantly team shot and not being able to do ANYTHING as an individual player is much worse.

The fact that this post asks only for a kinetic only MODE, should render no arguments IMO. Not sure how an optional playlist hurts anyone not in favor. Just don't click on that playlist...pretty simple

Although I dominantly use my secondary (it's just a basic pulse but I love it!) I'm actually not against this Idea. It could be good! BUT, if there's any way to abuse a primary, this is where people would find it out and it would be hell in other matches.

Okay. Two things: A). Thank you for suggesting a playlist and not just a return to the d2y1 sandbox. This was what I wished the crucible labs game mode would be. A way to try out things we don’t know will be good B). Maybe just don’t start the post with insulting literally anyone with a special weapon.

How about fix how trash the game runs and you wont get hit by somebody not getting flinched. Because the connectiond are trash. The game is full of FTP bums with garbage internet connection.

I was in a game with 2 guys using Sweet Business with actium war rigs, 2 guys with Mountain Top, and one with Weather Horde and the other one with Revoker. That game really sucked!!

6 RepliesLook at all the ohk scrubs in the comments bashing your post with D2Y1 excuse. Primary weapons for the most part are balanced and require 2 thumbs to use, get off your crutch you green ammo junkies. I would actually play pvp if there was a fixed primary weapon clash playlist.

I do want this however all of us know it’s gonna be full of ar hand cannon and sidearm spam. Solution? Restrict the mods to a certain primary only and it rotates every week. One week ar another week hand cannons another week scouts etc etc. Just my take on it tho

I’ve been waiting for a swords only playlist for years now so that people can appreciate the amazing swordplay in the game, so they can enjoy swords without all the brain dead knuckle dragging auto rifle maniacs and cowboy enthusiasts. That said I accept reality as it is and enjoy spamming Suros/ Erentil to my heart’s content
