How so? I'm not writing a novel here, just a simple forum post If you want my "best" work, you'll need to buy my short story when I publish it 😁

It's not really for me. I've hired many people, and since this is kind of a "first contact" with Bungie about employment, you'd want to bring your best. It's not personal, and no offense intended, just a professional observation.

I see what you mean To be honest, due to my previous circumstances, I've been extremely off my "A game" Keep in mind, as I've mentioned in the forum (no idea where), I have multiple disabilities When doctors ask me "How are you not dead?" Or "How have you not been to jail?" It used to be a compliment Now, I feel like it's a warning I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't a little desperate, I guess 😅

It's all good, really. I've been within minutes of dying 3 times in my life, and my current life expectancy is "unknown" due to a somewhat new procedure to save my life the last time, so I totally understand. Good luck with your writing! Those of us who have been through the shit have some pretty creative minds. I'm sure you will write good stories.

I wonder what you've been through, almost dying is tough I feel your pain ✌️

Edited by AendettV: 8/29/2020 4:09:54 AMThe last time, about 8 years ago, I woke up in what at the time I thought was an electrical room. Turns out, the ER at the hospital was so busy and the doctors needed to put me somewhere, so they rolled my bed into a maintenance trace. I had gone to work that day, felt odd, but not like I was dying, got home, started having chest pains and numbness, went with my girlfriend to an urgent care facility who took one look at me and sent me directly to the hospital. The nurses reaction was basically, " we don't care why you're here, you need to be in the ER now". I remember driving myself to the ER, but can't remember anything between parking and waking up in that bed.

You had a glimpse at real Western medicine for a second I'm sorry you've been through that 😤 One of my disabilities is Type 1 Diabetes (SUPPOSEDLY only 10% of all diabetics are this type, I know I have met MANY "doctors" that have had NO idea how to treat me 🤣) I have had this since age 2 Before I even knew what school was, I have been close to death more times than any war veteran or cancer patient. I am SO HAPPY my last seizure was as a child *knock on wood* I used to go to the hospital so often I thought it was fun after some time Because: "If you don't laugh, you cry." I stopped having fun a while ago I recognize when I'm just a number to someone It INFURIATES me now... ✌️

Type 1 diabetes is some really bad stuff. Unmanaged it can cause a plethora of major health issues. Previously there was no cure, and technically there still isn't a "definite" one, but through a pancreas transplant, doctors are now able to eliminate the need for synthetic insulin injections. I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors! Especially with your health and writing career!
