Edit: Why do people think having LL enabled will stop cheaters (on PC. There are no cheats on console besides ddosing) ?
Do you think LL matters if the other guy is teleporting and invisible and invincible?
Do you think LL matter if you get ddos'ed flying in?

1 ReplyNo thanks this helped with changes that NEED to be made for new accounts. Should be caped however at 950 or 960 so that artifact bloat doesn’t matter! Eventually there should be a cap is what I’m saying.

2 RepliesTrials shouldn’t even come back. Pvp is in such a piss poor state trials will only amplify this. It brings the best and worst of the pvp community. Showcases how broken certain weapons and abilities are. Remember when skip grenades got an exotic in d1? Yeah we all do and it -blam!-ing sucked having every engagement begin and end with a -blam!-ing skip grenade. I used to think they might as well give back trials of the nine but I really don’t think the sandbox is in any place for a competitive mode. Let alone one people are happily going to cheat in just like they did back in trials of the nine (bungie somewhat regularly banned innocent people so be ready to see that return)

16 RepliesI think everybody should cool their britches until Bungie actually announce the return of trials. Seems pretty unlikely to me. Either way, no matter what happens or no matter how it works if it does come back, within 12 hours of release it’s going to become the same toxic cesspool it was since D1 and the same people posting their faux, hive mind outrage at bungie for it to come back will be on here saying how shit it is and crying wolf on rampant cheating every time they lose a match. Seriously, the most vocal of people on these forums really hate finding out that they’re not as good as they think they are, and instead of acknowledging it they just love to cry “nerf” “ cheating” or “ddos “ every time they either miss a Jotunn shot or get killed by one. Trials? Yeah if the leak is true I’m sure it’s going to work out splendidly.

No Trials until Bungie are ready to limit exotics, heavies, supers, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. Maybe even curated loadouts for every player. If people want it to be about skill, then even the playing field.

i think the best counterpart to it would be to make trials only matter in gear level instead of iron banner which is gear+seasonal artefact

1 ReplyI think you should wait to see what Trials even is first. Bungie didn’t put it on hiatus this long just to bring it back in it’s previous form. There are probably lots of changes and my guess it will feel as casual friendly as Comp, it will sell you stuff through Eververse, and it won’t feel like the endgame the PvP community think they are getting at all.

Disagree having a grind matter would be a good change, would dying to someone cause a high impact an one shot due to light suck Yep, will it become a factor in every match not at all.
