Feel like the only one absolutely loving this season.
Title. There is so much negative feedback at the moment when I have honestly never been so hooked to destiny, not because of the time crunch, not because of RNG, but because there is weapons and armour I really want to earn (some of my favourite weapons of Destiny 2 as a whole) and because I find the focus on bounties really enjoyable.
Bounties especially lead to a lot of enjoyment they are super rewarding, most of them allow you to do whatever activity you want, and they dont last too long. I think its a great reward loop Im not sure what people would want instead.
The story was tiny but so much more -blam!-ing enjoyable than most story content in Destinys history due to its level of polish with unique animations and cool set pieces.
And those god damn weapons. Holy hell if Bungie ever make better legendaries than these...

Honestly this season has been laid back for me, staying away from PvP (iron banner being the only exception) and just enjoying PvE since I don’t feel shame using my mindbender on a acolyte lol. Not a lot of weapons to chase but that doesn’t mean I haven’t gotten my hands on some 9-10/10 rolls to test out this season.

4 RepliesThe main problem with this season is no weapons are worth chasing. Everything is overshadowed by what we already have so grind is pointless unless you want to grind literally just to grind which is fine but not many will do stuff just for the sake of having something to do.

The animations are probably reused, one of the lowest thing that matter in a story, And the set pieces????????? They are assets from the Curse of Osiris expansion that came out about two years ago. Also let's see how you react in a week when you have god rolls on all the weapons and see if you still like the reward loop.

Yeah I’m having a good time too actually. The sundial weapons are good in my opinion. Some really awesome rolls to chase.
