Can this be fixed?[/quote] It ups the charge, not the mag. The charge is a timed damage buff and the stack determines how high of a damage buff it gets.

And regardless of how Joe designed this weapon and knows how it works ,the weapons "design name" refers to a sense of harmonious and beautiful proportion and balance. In mathematics, "symmetry" has a more precise definition, and is usually used to refer to an object that is invariant under some transformations; including translation, reflection, rotation or scaling. Well I think regardless the timer should allow all the darn shots!. I'm.not tallking about PvP. Say I wanted to shoot 20 crits with it at a tank. I only use 15 before timer runs out. Sucks

Thats not how the weapon works. the charge is increased by 5. So instead of 15x as the max charge, you get 20x as the max charge. Get 20 crit hits and switch to overloaded shots mode, fire until timer is gone. Thats all you do. The stacks increase damage. Naturally 20 stacks is higher damage than 15 stacks... I calcuated about 32% more damage I believe.

My issue is that the quest to unlock the catalyst is so long and dull then I have to do even more with it to get it unlocked just to not have an increase in timer... Seems a waste or miscalculation from where i sit. If anybody is in the fence about goin for the catalyst... don’t bother.. the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
