It's just a refreshed destination with 3 missions, some old boss fights, and way too much grind. Forsaken was overpriced too, but at least that dlc added content! 9 new trees for your subclasses, TWO brand new destinations with NEW public events, new game mode, much longer story, way more everything...
The focus for shadowkeep is clearly designed around Eververse and the grind, new light and Steam.
So far, I much preferred when Activision was around.

5 RepliesDoes it bother anyone else when these kids cry about how much a dlc cost. No one cares if you didn't like it, it was $40 measly dollars. No one cares if you feel ripped off, it was $40 measly dollars. Oh No you'll "never" pre-order again. No one cares it was $40 measly dollars. Millions will and no one will notice if you don't. Don't like it, who cares, don't buy it.

9 RepliesI think you’re so over reacting, go to a bar have 4 drinks and you paid just ass much this whole battlepass/dlc compair it to that and this gives you way more fun, and you know what you where getting into when you bought it the trailers showed all the thing you are complaine about. And you’re only 2 days into the season. I say bungie good job keep it up

Go back to playing Fortnite you toy.

Edited by WP ScorpionWind: 10/8/2019 8:11:49 AMIf what we just got when the DLC came out 7 days ago was all we were getting I'd agree with you. But considering that according to Bungie (Trust about as much as you can throw the company but still wait to verify first) there is more content (Other than season pass stuff) coming. I think it is valid to say that judgment should be reserved until we have everything. THEN, if they really completely screws us over, and it's still not worth what we paid for it.... we can get out the torches, pitchforks, and start pilling the kindling around the steak. As the saying goes Innocent until proven guilt. We know activision was guilt and so did bungie. That's why they divorced them, and took custody of the kids (HAHA). Bungie has FAR less resources and employees and yet is trying to do better than all the large greedy companies.

11 RepliesBut Destiny is now free to play. You broke ass mfs need to calm down. Maybe gaming is too expensive for y’all. Find a different hobby until you can make some decent money.

Pay £60 upgrade football pitch DLC for fifa every years or £35 new gears, strike, raid and more to coming
-
Paid 0 for shadowkeep... Running around moon playing all the freebies till i have the spare change to by extra content. Ive played the vex invasion.. Soloed it cuz moon is a ghost town sometimes. I dont know why but no one seems to be in my games. "Is it my breath?" Seriously im gonna buy the added content but i am wondering just what the difference will be. Im at bout 915 power now.

Also no new trophy set. With this new direction thing, I thought we would get new trophies every DLC from now on, but we got none. Me too had the feeling it was better with Activision around.
-
4 RepliesForsaken was fair as it was almost the size of a full game, Shadowkeep is more like a minor DLC.
-
3 RepliesThe story is spread throughout the DLC.. how many times does this have to be repeated?
-
Muted

1000 silver (£8.39 where I am) for the season pass IMO is well worth it so I got that rather than shadowkeep.
-
You lost me when you said Forsaken was over priced.
-
3 Replies-blam!- no to your last sentence.
-
There's also a raid.
-
They did say its similar to ROI not Forsaken
-
24 RepliesContent isn’t all out, shut up and wait for the season to end and then do your review.

1 ReplyYou guys are all pretty ungrateful, dlc hasn’t even been out for a full week and it’s only the first season

Still a bit early to call it. Still got a new dungeon makin an appearance. 2 exotics and perhaps some hidden ones. Exotic tied quests like Whisper and Outbreak have yet to appear. personally I don't care about Crucible so that's forgettable to me. As it is right now. It's decent. Though most likely going to end up regrinding the same ol shit to hit that new power cap in the long run. Do I regret buying ShadowKeep?......a little....but hey...it was only 30 bones.
-
I still wouldn't have bought Shadowkeep, even at $15.
The focus for shadowkeep is clearly designed around Eververse and the grind, new light and Steam.
Note sure that this is true, unless you are only referring to the 250K odd players out of the 15M players then this would be a piss poor strategy wouldn't it?
So far, I much preferred when Activision was around.
I prefer them gone, gives Bungie the chance to work on their own shit, and give us the game they have been trying to for the last 5 years, but I feel it may be too little to late.

Edited by BarretOblivion: 10/8/2019 6:06:23 AMNah, maybe $20. Its still faaaar too early to give Shadowkeep a price tag. Keep in mind that there is still a dungeon coming at the end of the month as well as master hunts coming (with likely other hunts as well next week). You also have to tie in shadowkeep with season of the undying because it comes with the purchase so you cut $10 from the $35 for shadowkeep (since $10 is about what a season costs) making shadowkeep $25. The raid is pretty good, vex offensive has been fun, you have the leviathan's breath quest next week, we got divinity quest, etc. Sure, more exotics should have been added.
-
it shoud have been free, and apart from 1 shot supers all the pvp changes to hc and that need to be reverted
-
we are not done with the road map.

3 RepliesI agree on Shadowkeep to an extent, but Forsaken was definitely worth the 40 bucks. You literally listed all the reasons it was good. Shadowkeep would have been worth it if they A: added more than 1 exotic armor piece per character, B: refreshed the damn world vendors like they should've done in S4, and C: given us back factions, like they should've done in S6. There's a lot to like in Shadowkeep, but it could have, and should have been so much more. For something that was supposed to be a Rise of Iron like expansion, it delivered only 1/3 of what RoI did. No new public events unless you count vex invasions, no vendor refresh, no new social space (not that I expected one), and very few new exotics. I was really hoping Bungie would knock this outta the park, but this just feels like 2nd base.

2 RepliesWell somebody had to pay for the new players to play for free, so bungie charged you double 😂😂😂 It’s called
wealth distribution
Soon Tess is going to start giving away EBT cards for new players to have season pass too 🤷🏻♂️
