(way to make it "viable" again) This benefit's one gun: Izanagi, so that's gonna rule too, if the reload isn't crap Back to sniper meta, [i]horray[/i] You can expect all raids to be largely more annoying instead of challenging (because we should know better by now) 1-phasing as a thing is likely gone, meaning you're risking more wipe causing deaths and wasting more time for something that may easily not be worth it. Say goodbye to Riven because 90% of people running that raid are never going to do it legit after they find out that cheesing her is likely going to be impossible (Unless Izanagi saves the day or if we class restrict even harder on 5 nighthawks) Get 1K now Say hello to a much crappier LFG experience because not everyone can avoid dying forever, and with a lower damage output, you again risk a lot of wasted time Personal RIPs: Time Merciless Tarrabah (despite it not really having a chance to live) Loaded Question Coldheart Rat King Sweet Business Every single rocket Launcher All so we could stop: GLs with spikes Prospector Outbreak Darci Shotguns? And what are we left with? Whisper and Izanagi Given the best guns are going to be snipers (again) It's likely for yet another wobbly target sign of a raid boss, so prepare for your "challenge" of accuracy Guardians, because there's no way in hell this isn't exactly why this nerf is happening. I for one will be surely disappointed if Garden of Salvation is not made harder through new and innovated mechanics that shake up the norm for a fight in a good way (not bad because we get Reckoning 2) but through the same tired formula and nerfs

    • Honestly, I don't mind the faster reload. As long as it's a bit faster than the Outlaw perks or any other perk that makes you reload faster. And plus, as long as they don't nerf the Warlock's super, I'll be fine. Don't nerf a Super if the exotic armor piece makes it OP. It is kinda sad how we have to rely on one two certain weapons just to get past encounters. They'll buff one set of weapons, and we'll never hardly touch the others. It feels like that for Raids and Crucible. In Raids, it feels like Grenade Launchers with Spike Gernades are the only thing people ask for. If you don't have it, they complain. For Crucible, it feels like you either need that nice rolled Hand Cannon or Shotgun just to be somewhat evenly matched with others. I just want to feel powerful using Auto Rifles and Scout Rifles again. Even with bows and swords. There are a few that are okay, but they still don't seem too shine like every other weapon does.

    • Think this is smart nerf. Really gives new opportunities for diversity and bigger range of solutions now. Yes - easy CoS and Riven it’s comfortable with madness of exotic drop (1k, tarabbah, anarchy) but... does it’s really fun? Even such noob as me can do CoS for 40 minutes per char with this one phase boss kill meta. The question i have no answer - what for i need my warlock for now?)) May be they should change Lunafraction like “boost dps +100% staying in rift” or something like that ...

          Lol how are you complaining so much about something that obviously had to be done? Raids aren't interesting if every damage encounter comes down to "stand in well/behind barricade and shoot forever". Auto-reloads are mundane as hell. Faster reloading is definitely better. It also seems like you are forgetting we raided in D1 without auto-reload perks without much trouble... so

          • Just because Auto Loading is nerfed, doesn't mean all weapons are now useless. Most of the of what you listed is perfectly fine as DPS monsters without Auto Loading.

            • Some questions still remain: 1 - Will Luna rift and barricade add up? 2 - Will those buffs add with other reload perks? I mean, most of the gl cheeses MIGHT still be possible, given the fact primary/secondary gls still have a RPM which is not immediate. Yes, thre might be an impact, but they might still be kings. For instance: With a lightining speed reload of your MT, maybe you can shoot *almost* at the same time as now, if you account the small delay. I'm thinking about: Ophidian spect lock + gl loader + (animation canceling) + rift + barricade + field prep?

              • To break weapons like MT as DPS Monsters, it would be far better to nerf the rate of reload on Wells and Baricades. The time interval between reloads should be increased to a level where it can still support 25 RPM Rocket Launchers but no 90 RPM Grenade Launcher. All Weapons with a bigger Mag should not have any Problems and the Issue with a PvP Pinnacle being the best PvE Weapon would be fixed for Boss DPS.

                      • Well, at least this will force playtesters to actually include reload speed in weapon dps. Seems like everyone just stands in a rift when testing dps these days. Like, is it really that big of a crutch that it's just assumed?

                        These nerfs wouldn’t have to happen in the first place if the bosses and mechanics were actually fun to play through. People are using these “easy mode strats” because the encounters [i]just aren’t fun[/i]. They’re tedious and repetitive and leave absolutely no room for error and players just want to get them over with as soon as possible. If Bungie designed boss encounters that were actually interesting to play and not some kind of advanced coordination simulator, players might actually run them all the way through instead of cheesing them.

                        • What I dont get is there wasnt a single post about well being an issue till datto and whoever else thats a streamer just b1tched about it. I'm not saying it's his fault but we went a whole year without anyone on forum saying shii lol, and how all of a sudden it's a problem? Also for those that say, "oh now we can have variety and use something else and have more options" umm yea, it's only gonna create another meta and ppl will stick to that I mean it's been happening since the begining lol. And what's stopping you from using different loadout now? I dont get it, you want options but none of ya are using it except for a few that are claiming they do. And lastly, its raid that's the issue, its bungie raid devs that dont know how to create some unique encounters. I mean most of the time its do these things, stand in right order on plates, kill a knight or w.e that's glowing to drop the bosses shield and then stand in 1 spot and dps. Lastly, idk where some of you just popped out of where all of a sudden is defending the nerfs to warlocks and lunas lol. It's like a village just popped on a map that wasnt there before lol, this is why ppl are blaming datto because all his followers probably come here to just vote on it and agree it needs a nerf. Again this ain't gonna change or do anything but create a new meta, new weapon, yes singular weapon to use on bosses and lfg will ask only with those who have it and the cycle begins again. Besides a few of us who dare go be different and most of the time with cool ppl or friends to have variety in our LO, but most of the time in lfg you will be forced or asked to have that certain weapon or LO they think is best. Like I said not stopping any1 from using any other weapons or LO unless you solo in lfg and they demand you have what they want. I always use w.e I like, which is malfeasance, recluse and sleeper. I prefer my sleeper honestly

                          • Yes, Bungie can’t create content so they nerf what’s been recycled to make activities more challenging and sell you QoL as if there was anything creative about it. Welcome to Destiny. It’s ok I haven’t pre ordered creepy shadow anyway! You guys are all noobs, think about it. I didn’t pre order or buy foresaken when it released, I didn’t even do it after, I waited for all the nerfs to kick in to buy it at a fairer price although $39 was still too much for what I got since 80% i already paid several times and experienced many more. Thank god in a way since as a D1 player with way too many raids then, coming back to whisper would have been a pain. Anyway I played a few months catching up rinse and repeat recyclings of downgraded past toys. It was ok. Not bad, not good. Zero hour and shattered throne with menagerie are the only new good things in D2. But only menagerie is fun to replay. On the other side enemies switch lag all over the game, something that happened may be to very few enemies in D1, mainly some very specific raid enemies. Fall and hit detectors are totally broken, one too often makes a small jump and hits a ledge or step and dies. Strikes and raids, which were my favorite activities in D1 are terrible in D2 except may be last wish. Most have totally broken boss phases. Gambit is original/creative, which at least brought something new, but its execution is broken, and obviously designed to waste time. Pvp is so bad compared to D1, and looked like it was designed for Pavlovian dogs guarding corners. Reckoning is so in the middle of nowhere. Last but not least nothing really creative about the new exotic weapons, with most of the decent ones being once again D1s. The only clearly new interesting aspect of D2 and the GLs, but then again only as long as they are meta. Destiny will be worth $60 a year when it will be one evolving game. Not cycling recycles and patches.

                          • Raid population is lower than D1 was Guided games for raiding is almost completely unused If you are going to try and include more people in raiding because you want more people to experience the end game content you created, then it is probably not a smart move to make your lfg more toxic to newer raiders
