Please fix crucible smh. The cheaters are unreal. Getting tired of coming across teleporting people and lag switchers.

Edited by Mister CHOW: 1/9/2021 9:00:44 PMi dont know what is worst, if its the cheaters that have mental problems or bungie that allows them play.... congratulations Bungie, it's one of the few games that gets worse over time ... it's a good time to belong to Bungie, if you like the shamed ...

1 ReplyLove all the git gud and get good internet comments lol yall are a joke. When you watch a arc hunter coming at you then disappear then reappear behind you after you chuck your nova bomb and they take the hit before the teleport with no damage taken and manage to kill you after the reappear there is a issue there. Also when you go to jotuun someone and it goes through them like they are a ghost then they put you down super fast. Have had issues in comp and quickplay. Erentil is a beast im not mad at being killed by it lol damn things a sniper i have 3 myself lmao

5 RepliesShould be how smash bros is. Caught cheating? Then your permanently put into the cheaters play list where you can ONLY EVER play against other cheaters.
-
7 RepliesBy cheaters do you mean those no gooders that use Erentil the ENTIRE GAME.
-
I think the only rampant cheating in Destiny 2 is account recoveries, but that is more of a Terms of Service cheat than "OMG HAX" cheating. I understand why Bungie chooses to ignore it.

🤬 I agree 100% with you! There should be an auto kick for bad lag! I really don't care about the sob story of the poor guy who used a tired old monkey to peddle the bike that turns the gears that powers the generator that gives juice to his modem for his internet! Every time that poor monkey slows down from Exhaustion the bad lag kicks in! 🐒

Edited by Evade: 8/18/2019 9:39:15 PMI bet if it's happening so much u make a forum post about it, it's probably your internet

1 ReplyI have only ever seen people cheat twice. One guy that had a rapid fire lag switch. reason why I say it like that is because he had a 360 rpm blue pulse rifle and fired it at full auto 540 rpm and sometimes even faster, and died instantly due to smoke nades ticking several times in an instant (my friend has a clip of that). That is it. There were definately cases of suspicious activity when it came to some peoples internet/lag switching in other matches but I am too unsure to call it cheating. most of the time it us just people having horribly unstable internet. I am not denying the fact there are cheaters out there, just saying it is not as frequent as you might think it is. And if it is, why is this happening less on PC (probably the easiest to cheat on with 3rd party software) than on console?

3 RepliesEdited by Steamed Hams: 8/17/2019 3:10:04 PMOh so thats where my ex-wife has been hiding out

1 ReplyRegardless of any cheating that may or may not be occurring...PvP is an absolute dumpster fire of imbalance. Every single facet of PvP is broken. And the weapons? Out of 100+ plus weapons available there’s maybe half a dozen that are truly viable in PvP. And just about all of those are either exotic or pinnacle weapons. I play a LOT of PvP and super rarely ever get killed by anything except supers, exotics, pinnacle weapons, and heavy. If I die 8 times in a PvP match it’s almost a certainty that 6 of those kills will be from roaming supers. Bungie needs to rein in that steaming pile and add at least a bit of diversity to an incredibly un-diverse PvP.

26 RepliesI'd usually tell you to stop being salty but after what I witnessed 2 days ago I don't think I will... Someone advertising Fabled carries on LFG messaged me and even though i wasn't interested I checked out their livestream. Straight up aimbot (little purple boxes around enemies) and they we're using the invisible effect from hunters on a titan class. This was on Xbox, I didn't think hacking at this level was even possible on Destiny 2 Xbox but here we are. These are the true scrubs, the ones who need to hack to win.

7 RepliesEdited by michael: 8/17/2019 11:48:50 PM50 days in crucible and I have never once matched a cheater. Most of that is on PC too where it is arguably easier to cheat. If it is such a big problem then maybe you should try it. Download an aimbot or wallhack client and see how long you last, if you can even figure out how to get it in the first place. No reason to be worried about losing your account if cheaters are a huge issue and don’t get punished right? The only cheater I know of is the clay guy but he is quite literally one in a million. I bet you anything you are just using cheating as a scapegoat for poor connection or people that are better than you, just like people have been for decades. Its a lot easier to accuse someone of cheating than to improve for yourself.

4 RepliesDude, today I joined these guys who were keeping the other team from spawning in. When I asked, they said it was the other team. which was just solos btw, trying to Ddos us. I wasn't sure at all, but shrugged it off and kept going. Well it happened SIX TIMES IN A ROW. I then asked if it was them who kept the others from spawning in, and they said it was them. I've never left a team so fast. I uploaded my perspective to youtube to show that I legitimately had NO Idea what was happening until it was too late

Sounds like shit internet

Yeah go to the PC support section. All the whiny rockers who got banned for cheating programs running in the backround.

15 RepliesEdited by Hunter_Umbra: 8/17/2019 11:46:48 AMYou want to see a real cheater? Look up videos on a certain player: How can I do this without outright naming? 🤔
Word that starts with "C" and is used to make pottery
is
Word that means being successful in a situation where the odds are stacked up against you
9 RepliesHow do you know for certain they're cheating and it's not just this game dogshit servers/people connected to McDonald's wifi?
-
Nice to see someone other than me talking about people cheating for a change
-
From experience i have learned that alot of the people who have bad connections are from different regions. Like yesterday i played against a very laggy player but he had a Japanese name. Or when I played nightfall strikes with some people on discord and their is a European guy but playing in the NA region and he is experiencing problems in the game like lag or enemies popping. I believe its the p2p connection and its also the non reign locking. I don’t believe xbox or playstation versions of destiny have the option to choose your regions you want to play in before starting the game so i think it’s entirely possible that is the case (i might be wrong). On pc it might get worse as i don’t think the steam Version is gonna have the option to choose either soooo. Idk we might see even more reports of lagging on the steam release.

Bungie rewards cheaters with the movie of the weak emblem!
-
7 RepliesJust hope you know the difference between bad internet and people actually cheating. The term has been thrown around so loosely these days.
-
Git good
-
If BUNGIE put pinnacle weapons as random impossible drops at the end of raids, I bet you more people would play the GAME rather than striving to be crucible elitist scrub lords. . .
-
cheaters valhala
-
2 RepliesYes. OEM cheat is the most common.

2 RepliesHad no idea this was a thing. Thought it was people getting salty when taken out by more skilled players. Just did some research and OMFG there's plenty of aimbot programs out there for D2. I suck at Crucible, need a whole lotta quests etc on there, but people who use these crutches are just never gonna improve. Why even bother playing if you are never "gittin gud"? How you ever gonna feel good about any achievement you get in the game? It's a quick fix that will break you long term. People who use these tools are tools themselves and they DESERVE to use them. No need to ban them. Their empty lives will be punishment enough.
