I was pumped about the solstice armor until I found out it just continued the process of forcing people into game modes they may hate to play. Why could there not have been a pvp/pve route choice going in?

I don’t mind Crucible or Strikes but Gambit is just....
ugh
-
It’s a pvp and pve game, does my head in sometimes but what you gonna do! The requirements are too bad . Multi task and you will fly through .

1 ReplyBecause everyone loves gambit right? Oh wait.

2 RepliesToxic responses incoming. Brace yourself for the stupidity.

Bungie isn’t forcing anybody to do anything. They ARE seductively coercing their base to grind mindlessly for things they won’t ever use again, though. Of course, that’s on the player base. Look at me! I have the newest and latest armor! Look at how much I spent to look so awesome! First, I don’t really care. Second, the logic behind this being a “celebration” is a pure mystery. Third, Bungie is laughing at the entire base. They’re all on vacation this next month, while the petty and poor souls soldier on through this, yet another shitty grind. Lol They’re geniuses. We are hamsters in their wheels.
force
I do not think that word means what you think it means.
-
Remove pvp requirements, only if you remove nightfall and raid requirements for weapons that don't come from raids/nightfalls
-
Yes because in an event about celebrating all we’ve done, we shouldn’t be forced into playing all the activities we’ve done. Nice logic.
-
Are you being forced to get the solstice armor?
-
I don't mind it, I haven't touched an adventure or strikes in a while sooo, I get what you are saying but it works the other way too.
-
3 RepliesYup. This afternoon I thought: well 10 matches, I can handle that. After 7 matches I was like... blam this thing ruined my good mood again... Why not let us choose?

1 ReplySolstice is a celebration of the game of course it makes you play everything. Just be thankful we don’t have to do all those old missions again
-
8 RepliesThis quest is literally easy mode. Why are people complaining?!?
-
If you want everything in the game, PLAY everything in the game
-
15 RepliesThere is. Play gambit instead of PVP...
-
You’ll live without the armor.
-
It's trying to force me into Quickplay, but I'm not having any of that. I'll go into Comp or Rumble. I'm done with Quickplay. Not going back.
-
Because everyone loves gambit right? Oh wait.

Last time I checked, you are not forced into anything. Eject disc and throw away. And delete the D2 app too, while you are at it. Cry baby.

8 RepliesAgree. Wasn't sure if I'd buy the new dlc, now Im sure Im not until a major price drop. I'll grind this armor, then I'm done with the game for awhile. Needless to say the grind for the armor is way more ridiculous this time around.

1 ReplyDo you remember the last time we had solstice? It took a long time to get that armor upgraded. How many times have you used that armor since then? If your answer is “not very much” then you are probably ok by not having it.
-
they consider Gambit a PVE activity.. which it isnt really.. but its still better than having to grind quickplay -.-

2 RepliesI understand that it’s supposed to make us well rounded guardians but I have one question. Isn’t the whole point of solstice of hero’s is to be a triumph over the darkness that took over the city? How does pvp play into that? Otherwise I understand and think it makes it feel meaningful to earn the armor for most people.
