Japan is awesome. I went there in 2011 (just after the Fukushima meltdown). Where did you go?

Mainly Kyoto and Tokyo, and a couple of days in Naoshima, a small fishing island renovated as an "art island." lots of cool art projects and galleries.

I read about Naoshima but we didn’t go. We only went to Tokyo and Kyoto with a couple of day trips to Nara and Nikko national parks. I would love to go back, there was so much we didn’t get to see. I’d love to go to Osaka and Hiroshima and also see more of the countryside.

We went there for business (my mum is a lawyer) and the japanese lawyers we went out to dinner with also said that if we come back we should check out the countryside. My mum is going back for business in November, but I'll be at uni so I can't go. I plan on going back some time next year after I graduate.

You should definitely check out Nikko national park. There’s all these amazing shrines and temples amongst a beautiful forest. It’s only s day trip from Tokyo.

Tochigi. Nikko Circuit is in Utsunomiya. Also Tochigi. Not the mecca that is Ebisu. But definitely Temple of Speed status.
