There's certain instances where I enjoy being the only guy doing a public event
Like cryo pod and Taken Blight.
I'm sure you all understand why.

When I was joining a friend last night, he was on Titan doing flashpoint and he watched a blueberry use the orb to hit the spider tank. I sadly didn't load in to see this stupidass display.

Different people want different things. Fortune cookie wisdom at it's best. ;) You will never ever be able to make everybody happy. Everybody wants something different from an event. - some guys want to complete them as quick as possible to be able to move on quickly - some guys use events to complete their "kill XYZ of enemies with that ABC type of weapons" and don't care for heroic because of this - some guys want the heroic version because a) they have a quest to do heroic events b) they want the extra EXP for levelling c) they are serious nerds and want all events to be heroic just because So you are either lucky and everybody at the event spot wants the same or you eat what Life has brought to your table. No need to get angry at people who don't wana wait till an event is heroic. And even less need to get angry if a player doesn't know how to turn an event heroic. There are 100's of events daily. If you need one, you will find it, don't worry.

i sometimes enjoy thinking i am alone in public, or when i think i am alone... hiding in the bushes... in certain instances its quite eventful. Waiting on people to sit on the park bench, so i can see small change fall out of their pocketses as they licks the ice creams.... filthy humanses.... filthy filthy humanses....

If i ever see someone trying to solo one and I have time I always try to help people Heroic AND complete them. Especially those Lvl 49 and lower.

So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

13 RepliesYeah, I hate when stinking noobs havent played the game at all, have some ridiculous bounty, and expect me to take 5 minutes "capturing" some shithead, when I could womp his ass in three seconds, and move on to the next one, increasing my ghost shells per hour. Totally get it.

Yeah, that can be annoying, but it's a "public" event. Not everybody knows how to turn the events heroic and that's fine. Most planets have at least one other event starting anyway

The only reason a PE should be heroic is if it's for a bounty or for one extra ghost fragment.....or if it actually speeds it up. No other reason

What i dont understand is what you are doing on Tangled Shore, Dreaming City or IO alone. If you want something heroic, the flashpoint planet is usually the place to go. If not that, youre a long time player. You alone should be able to solo Heroic public events by now.

I was only ever able to solo this completely once because people would join in while i was doing it. Looking at me like "hey we are here to help bro", and im like... "i was doing something.. please leave... 🙄". And dont get me started on the taken blight. When that event spawns its basically a race against time between you trying to 1k and super the blight while randoms punch and shotgun all the adds. Only event where you are literally working against each other if they do not know how to make it heroic. When you have full 1k ammo and super from the rally, its the fastest heroic event in the game if your alone, likewise if people start whiping the adds it becomes a 5 minute endevour. To this day, people still do not know to shoot the blight with the buff from the bubble. 🙄

Cryo pod is a waste of a heroic unless the heroic is in progress or flashpoint. Other wise heroics are only good for speeding it up (like excavator) or on the way (vex).
