Bungie, can we just get the AWESOME Destiny back?
Take D1 Age of Triumph. There's your blueprint.
All content mattered and helped, and there was a ton of content. Not some Annual Pass BS. Loads of great weapons! We could play how we want with what we wanted.
Can we... can we just go back to that?

1 ReplyI loved destiny 1 , but stop looking through therose color glasses. Year 1, the serious grind, forever 29 Dark below, trials , prison of elders. Year 2 taken king, nothing else for 8 months, and revamp of prison of elders Year 3 Siva dlc, ages of triumph, 3 raids brought up to light, and some ornaments for gear. Most importantly, all guns nerfed into the ground, every weapon sucked. Like I said I love d1, but please stop making it sound that it was that far greater than d2. I would actually argue their is way more content than in d2 now, then all of d1.

5 RepliesAs a d1 player I expected d2 just to be an improvement of d1 - a game that I enjoyed. What we got was a soft reboot labelled as a sequel. Was a 90% downgrade from d1 and a 10% upgrade. Surely bungie wouldn't flop two releases in a row I thought.

1 ReplyI love d2 but you are right. Age of triumphs was the best destiny has ever been. All raids relevant with armor glows. Trials. Triumph book was awesome.

Exposure to the lore, story, all of it. 2) The Taken King 3) My Journey to the Farm in D2. Thank you, Louis. 4) Forsaken Everything else has been a weird combo of engaging fun and mind-numbing fun.

Bungie, You let dollar signs get in the way of good judgment, Destiny 1 was amazing, Destiny 2 is a joke. The smartest thing Bungie could do is revive Destiny 1.

12 RepliesDestiny 1 as a whole wasn't as memorable and great as people think it is. If you go back to D1 to play it, it actually sucks pretty bad. It's an actual mess. It was a complete mess from the beginning and it was a complete mess through the entire journey. People like to sing that game's praises but it really wasn't worthy of all those praises. Having trials of osiris doesn't make it a good game. Hell, Trials of Osiris back then wasn't even that great... it was actually pretty mediocre and fairly unplayable a good lot of the time.

1 Replyim reading people say "well bungie was lazy and all age of triumph did was bring back old content BUNGIE IS LAZY" yes it brought back old content because the community wanted them to bring back old content, i remember how excited i was to play through all the raids and get the gear i had then, brought back into the new light cap. i can assure you that 90% of the community wants them to bring the good old content back like the raids because of how good they were and the 10% of you that will always scream "BuNgIe Is LaZy!"

9 RepliesI hope you know that all age of triumph was was just all the raids brought up to light level 390 and they made some slight modifications to the encounters, ornaments to the armor, and have all the primary weapons from the raids become exotics with burns. It wasn't even that creative as all they did was bring back old shit, the same stuff people like you cry about, to cater to people with nostalgia for the old stuff. Bringing back the Leviathan raids would be boring an unoriginal, as its stuff I've already done. Stop being blinded by nostalgia and look at the facts, age of triumph was just re-skinned old stuff.
