Basic Sniper Rifle Frame disappeared from inventory after being unable to get compound ether to drop
1. I got my "free powerful frame" for the sniper after unlocking the Gofannon forge.
2. Then you need to get compound ether from the fallen. But after +200 fallen kills on different locations I couldn't get a single one to drop.
This was on this Friday as in after the jan 29 update.
So I couldn't complete the steps to get the sniper weapon.
3. Bungie made an announcement and it was a known bug they were looking into after the update!
Then, I ignored the frame for a bit and completed some old silver frames for enhanced weapons I had from my first forge in the EDZ by completion Gofannon.
I figured it'd get fixed and I'd be able to complete it soon.
4. Then next day my basic sniper rifle frame "free powerful frame " from unlocking gofannon was gone.
Without me being able to complete it or do anything about it... This was a Friday and it was gone by Saturday (no reset on fridays AFAIK?).
5. Can my weapon frame be restored somehow? Did I lose the chance to get this weapon because of this Bug??

1 ReplyEdited by Gorribal: 2/4/2019 3:06:47 AMyeah i bet many players got the same issue, i lost both the frames for izanami and gofannon but doing the missions, so basicly 2 free weapons. but i doubt we will get anything back. We hardly getting answers from bungie, so dont hope for more :/

1 ReplyI'm on PC. Just ran into the same issue. Was doing the Basic Sniper Rifle Frame to get to Gofannon Forge. Got my weapon core from the crate and went on to kill Fallen enemies and no drops of the Compound Ether...discarded my pursuit for it and now I cannot progress to Gofannon.
