Edit 1: Wanted to thank everyone for the response and wanted to put my thought on anthem. I agree with alot of the people saying its over hyped and will be even more dependent on RNG and repetitive gameplay. I agree it might be good for 2 weeks but tbh no game ive ever come across has kept me playing as much as the destiny franchise has, i played since day 1 D1 and the game has grown, downgraded and upgraded over the years. Its had its lows and highs with the community however its gained a extremely loyal fanbase and i hope now bungie have full control we will see bigger better changes to come.

Nope. It looks fantastic, but my heart will still be with D2. I may pick Anthem up when the price goes below 60, but even if so, it won't replace Destiny for me.

Probably not. I preordered it but unless it's the greatest game ever made(doubtful because EA) I'll still play destiny. Even if it is the greatest game ever I'll probably still play destiny. All this hate makes no sense because some decent games have come out over the course of destiny's life span and people are still here.

I said it before, and I'll point it out again. Destiny already has a f2p competitor called "Warframe." If something literally free doesn't kill it, what makes you turds think a $60 EA release will? Logic, boyo.

I’m gonna try the Beta for anthem and If I like it, then I’ll give the main game a shot. Division 2 is also on the horizon and I’ll probably get that too. It’s always been good to take a bit of time away from Destiny and have fun with other games, but I always come back because I love how Destiny plays and there’s nothing else that plays like it

No. Unless Anthem can master Warframes wonderful craft of being able to enjoy the same mission 10000 times it just seems like a copy of the Divisons loot system where you keep getting “higher” tier loot just so you not die as fast and a constant boring chase for that loot, which was a flaw.

It doesn't die man, I've quit an come back several times. There's other games I'm interested in right now though. I just scooped up a PSVR so I've been having a blast with that. Astro bot, firewall, biohazard 7. Im pretty set for right now. I'll be back for the next update, just bored for now.

I quit D2 a couple weeks ago. Really disappointed that I paid $35 for the pass. Gave up on boring forges after opening the second one and realizing there's 2 more after that. D2 is still broken AF and Bungo doesn't seem to care about solo players either. I'll be playing other games until Anthem comes out. Don't know if I'll come back to Destiny again. I don't care for gambit so that's another 4 months I can forget about. Been a bumpy 4+ years with Destiny and I don't know that I want to stick around for another 5 years of this sh!t.

Nope. Anthem is ea cash grab as mass effect failed and anthem is a poor mix of destiny, warframe, mass effect. Get ready for same level of hate as battlefront 2 and will be on sale online within 3 months for £20 😂

I got Escape From Tarkov few weeks ago - haven't touched Destiny 2 since ... other games also. It's just ... so freaking good. I found a good clan also so we raid together going in fully geared obligirating the map leaving no one standing looting all the good stuff. I still need to extract 2 Secure Flash Drives for a quest and 7 more video cards because one of the traiders wants to build a rig ... :D this game is awesome, I don't see myself playing Anthem or The Division 2 any time soon.

4 RepliesI guess it was made illegal to play more than one game a year. Marshall law has gotten out of control. Sucks when your bored of one game, the only way to play, test or enjoy another game is to permanently and forever quit the game you are currently playing. If only... just only there was a way... to play destiny and other games, then I feel gamers would be truly happy... one day.

It's doing that to itself already. 2nd, how can some of you call yourselves gamers? Why cant qe enjoy everything that's offered to us? Me personally I'll be playing everything that interests me. I been grinding so much with d2 I'm ready for a good break from it but doesnt mean I wont play it from time to time or when a dlc drops. Resident evil 2 remake comes out on my birthday , that will be my go to game, and I'm still playing spiderman and red dead 2 as well, recently my wife bought me darksiders 3. So my hands are full. But as a gamer, it's normal to go from 1 game to another then back to whichever game you want. I mean hell I still play super metroid on my SNES one of my all time favorite games. And for anthem, bet your bottom dollar I'll be on that game. And as any other game itll get bit stale or I'll get bored of it which is why I like having multiple games, so I can play something else and if I'll feel like anthem or destiny I'll know I have that choice

5 RepliesI'm going to The Division when it releases myself. The one thing that they are showing me is customization and variety (like games such as Diablo and MHW), which is something I feel like Destiny has never done very well.
