Lol
Edit 1: Wanted to thank everyone for the response and wanted to put my thought on anthem. I agree with alot of the people saying its over hyped and will be even more dependent on RNG and repetitive gameplay. I agree it might be good for 2 weeks but tbh no game ive ever come across has kept me playing as much as the destiny franchise has, i played since day 1 D1 and the game has grown, downgraded and upgraded over the years. Its had its lows and highs with the community however its gained a extremely loyal fanbase and i hope now bungie have full control we will see bigger better changes to come.

4 RepliesIt's made by EA. I'm definitely waiting to see the reviews.
-
5 RepliesI don't get why people act like they can only play one game. I think a lot of people will try out Anthem. I think some people will like it and some won't. I'm also very careful about having hope for it because it's associated with EA. EA. It looks kinda cool. But I'm not head over heals for it. And I'm not like that for Destiny either. It's a game, not a marriage. (put people still cheat in those and my dad still hasn't come back)

8 Repliesevery game is trash now. Nothing is complete even this game. WTF happened to the gaming industry?
-
There is tons more games with more love and support to the franchise that were worth playing, Notably Phantasy Star Online, Halo 3, Monster Hunter series, and so on. But sadly that's a different generation. Now its all cash grabs, Hopefully anthem is different in terms longevity but I won't hold my hopes for it. Destiny was never a good game for me, But it was a direct replacement for a game I did love. Hoping something can replace the Destiny title soon.
-
I'll play the beta first, then wait for reviews. If it's good, I'll play but nothing will replace destiny for me.
-
2 RepliesI don't even need Anthem. A few other games have already taken me away from Destiny. I'm having a blast with AC: Odyssey right now.
-
This is and has drawn both sides out of the woodwork. The only thing that will kill Destiny is perhaps Bungie themselves. I'm sure a few people will check out Anthem too see if it's any good. Why not? It has potential. We'll find out soon enough if that potential is met or not. We'll also see if it's full of overpriced MTX's or not. I've watched a few of the developer vids and it doesn't look too bad. D1 even if had downfalls was good. We can all agree the shooting mechanics of the game we're spot on. The gunplay was and is one of the best things in Destiny. In other areas it's fallen short or has been changed and reworked so many times some people just had enough. Anthem is a good thing for Destiny. I think some competition will spur Bungie on (hopefully) to really focus and nail down what they want Destiny to be. I think they just need to pick one direction and run with it.

I’m waiting to see how good it is, my expectations for the game a very low. I’m actually more excited for Division 2 as all the early reviews and testing say they fixed nearly every problem the first game had
-
Looks ok, but for $70-$80 I'll wait for a free trial.
-
Nah, Destiny, Smash Bros and Dying Light will still be my games and Anthem is probably gonna flop anyway so yea.
-
Anthem
-
not only one, but very few will still play this game oem titan skating luna not forgotten jotuun I am counting the hours until anthem releases
-
4 RepliesI’m just trying to get an Anthem demo code, damn it. Every time I’ve tried preordering from Amazon, it says it’s unavailable for Xbox. I was able to preorder Metroid Prime 4 months ago when all they’ve shown is a logo, but not Anthem when it’s weeks away from release? Sounds about right. I don’t have the annual pass yet, but Forsaken brought me back to Destiny. I was SO down on D2, and now I’m actually enjoying it for first time. No PvP at launch is gonna hurt Anthem, and I have a few other concerns. But damn, I’m still excited to try it.
-
Nah I'll be here until March.
Division 2 my dudes
-
2 RepliesImagine comparing D2 which has had multiple -blam!-ups to a game that hasn’t even came out yet but of course you’re going to have the regular D2 fanboy defend this game until they drop dead even after bungie went behind there backs and throttled exp gains smh

Given the steep learning curve in putting out a console MMORPG, I fully expect Anthem to be fun for a couple of weeks followed by a year long poop show. I mean, bungie stil hasn't gotten a year 1 right and they had 2 chances. The game that might hit the ground running is Division 2. Division 1 finished up in a really good place, they seemed to have taken feedback to heart, 1st year of DLCs is free, matchmaking for all activities and 2 eight man raids expected in year 1.
-
No, I will still be around playing D2.
-
15 RepliesA few weeks after release Anthem will be a memory and Destiny will still be one of the best games ever made.
-
2 RepliesWhat to play a game from the creators of mass effect? That trilogy sucked so hard.
-
7 Repliesnope, it's EA which means they will undoubtedly -blam!- it up in one way or another. I will however be taking a break for KH3 when it drops :D
-
lol the first Anthem DLC "Micro Transactions" sponsored by EA its in your wallet
-
Probably the only person that's saying this but I'm waiting on Ace Combat 7 :) Once I get the HOTAS sticks I should be good for awhile. And I still play RDR2 whenever possible.
-
Nah. From the gameplay I’ve seen so far Anthem looks very underwhelming.
-
1 ReplyYup I'll come back in once in a while or when content drops and if it looks good but I'm going to play the shit out of anthem like I did with destiny1 :p

Depends on how Bungie handles this core issue. The shooter bros will stay because Destiny is a FPS. Everyone else? Good question.....
