Do exotics even drop anymore?
I’m 600... I’ve completed the raid 5 times. I have the quest specific exotics outside of 1k voices. Other than that I haven’t seen a single forsaken exotic since its launch. Plenty of repeats... this is pathetic and a giant steamy dump on your regular players. Literally not one new forsaken weapon has fallen for me. BS!!!

There's an Achievement called Exotique. Collect 10 Forsaken exotics. Last time I checked, less than 0.5% of players have done it. And I'm thinking those are Streamers and Bungie employees.

And the one exception is a grind gun, not an RNG reward: [u]Vigilance Wing[/u]: Although Y2 has brought in many fine new instruments of death (Luna's Howl, Bygones, etc), this five-round spray cannon remains a formidable Crucible presence. Un;less the player is hopelessly overmatched, also a frequent occurence. [u]Telesto[/u]: This gun has so many uses: melting wizards in Gambit, serving as an equalizer in PvP, and melting most enemies in PvE. And it can even lay booby traps, in a sense. [u]Sweet Business[/u]: This gun may not be the best at anything, but it's good at almost everything. If you don't know what's coming, Sweet Business will probably see you through it anyway. [u]Malfeasance[/u]: The newest addition to the list, and an exotic truly worth the grind. It's my go-to gun in Gambit, suitable for unblocking banks, pasting primevals, and melting Invaders (up close; it doesn't counter Sleeper sniping). [u]Riskrunner[/u]: This gun is as situational as they get. But under the right circumstances (Fallen, Hive with thralls, Taken), it is an absolute monster.

Only way to get exotics is to do the top tier spider bounty on all 3 characters every week, only real source i’ve found.

Just use the old ones, most of my favorites are still year 1, with the exception of wish ender and malfeasance, tractor cannon sleeper vigilance wing crimson Prometheus lens. People just forgot the old ones, they have to have all the new fancy things. Just use what you got, don’t cry about what you don’t have and when you do finally get one it will be even more rewarding.

I only seen 1 Exotic Engram drop in 10 weeks or so. I thought they made them undroppable now. My last one was a repeat anyway.

2 RepliesSounds like bad RNG, or focusing on the wrong activities - I tend to get Exotics in bursts, usually when running PvE Patrols/PEs on Saturdays. Got a Cerberus, Queenbreaker, and Gwisin Vest back-to-back from the daily Strike, Gambit, and Crucible matches on my Hunter last week, and a Two-Tailed Fox from a generic Patrol mission a few minutes after getting Lord of Wolves a couple weeks ago - I've had a few Saturdays in a row where I'll get 5-8 Exotics in an hour or two on the same character (some dupes, but I'm also missing a lot of Y1 Exotics) as rewards from Patrol missions, this is actually the first weekend I haven't had much luck. (I just want my Chromatic Fire, preferably with a Pulse perk - even re-rolled my Warlock last week to see if a new character increases the chances, don't know if it'll make any difference but I'll be maining her next week to see how my luck goes.)

7 RepliesGoing on 3 weeks with out a single exotic drop, not paying for anymore content, its a game who cares if we all have everything, I get they should be rare but come on, 3 weeks with out a single drop at all?? Had a clan mate get 2 in one night and both new ones from Forsaken.

I havent had an exotic drop in at least 6 weeks.

The exotic problem is old hat, it’s taken me nearly 2 weeks to get 9 mod components, just one more and I can get one boss mod that’s not interchangeable between gear. This system is terrible bungie.

since release of forsaken ive had one exotic drop and it was shinobu's vow. none of the new exotics have dropped for me either. i feel the pain and how upset you are. ive been playing since destiny 1 beta and this is the worst drop rate.

1 ReplySure they drop... I managed to get 3 yesterday.. ALL 3 WERE THE EXOTIC SPARROW I'VE GOTTEN A TOTAL OF 6 TIMES FROM RANDOM DROPS. It's such a conflicting experience... You see that beautiful gold bastard pop up into the air and land with a bounce.... Thinking... Ooooooh I hope it's one of those 4 I really want but haven't gotten... Then... Bamn... The sparrow you've already gotten 5 times - _- the most useless exotic item This makes it entirely not worth it.

I have not had 1 single new forsaken exotic drop since launch of forsaken the only ones i have are the quest exotics. Then on top of it its pretty lame that the emblem for beating meatball servitor isn't given when you beat it. all this random drop crap is annoying but then they make badges tied to RNG which is garbage. so sick of it right now honestly. grind through 2 infamy ranks figuring i will get that emblem upon 2nd reset and nope big ole middle finger but yet they can water down the ace of spades and malfeasance quest and nerf sleeper because of streamers whining but they don't give 2 craps about regular players.

Legend tells of a time when exotics once rained from the sky and special items could be used to make them fall more often. But then a darkness came...elitist twats who believed the exotics fell far too often and should be scarce to the point that they became myth. But that was long ago and the drought brought on by the elitist twats remains.

Exotic drop rate is a freakin joke. Bungie is gonna keep loosing players, people are sick of Bungie’s crap, Destiny has become a waste of time.

They have it down to a science of addiction. As soon as I was ready to quit and move on to other games, I got my first armor Forsaken exotic, Shards of Galanor. Before that, I'd gotten only the quest exotics and Trinity Ghoul and Cerberus+1. Both of the weapons are... meh. Trinity Ghoul is pretty solid to clear mobs of adds, Cerberus+1 sucks in pretty much every situation. Shards is pretty sweet, though.

The whole rng thing is shit and needs rework. I still don't have the warlock boots and Orpheus rigs, which are a requirement for the Raid and have been kicked because I didn't have them. Bought Prometheus lens first week xur sold it and 1hr later my first exotic drop was Prometheus lens like wtf? Seriously remove exotics you have from the loot table and exotics like thousands voices, the chance of it droping should increase with the number of completions.

2 RepliesMy luck was horrible until the past few days. Got 1k voices from the raid, got queensbreaker from ikora bounty thing, and just now got one eyed mask while playing gambit. I cant complain but it has taken a while to get any new exotics since forsaken has dropped.
