Buff exotic drops no one wants to wait two years for the stuff they alrray paid for

1 Replyi got Trinity ghoul a month or more ago, and nothing since ... as of last week, i all but stopped playing ... i see no point is it as i know i will not get anything, i'll wait another 2 or 3 months and they will change the drop rate ..

I got 9 exotics last week. You read correctly, 9! 5 of them were exotics I didn’t have before. Crucible is dropping exotics left and right.

I wouldn't care about drop rates if the exotic engram guaranteed a new exotic.

Absolutely agree. I don't have a single random drop forsaken exotic. I have played this game pretty much exclusively since forsaken came out. And have nothing to show for it. It's a travesty. Bungie should be ashamed of themselves. I have one exotic since the patch. Year one lucky pants. Bungie, buff the drop rates. They can be rare but still drop more than now. Destiny has never felt as unrewarding as it does now.

Turds will trash talk this thread but the FACT here is that everyone’s rng is different. And for many, rng is BROKEN for Forsaken exotics. Myself, yeah I got a few. And a whole bunch of year 1’s since Forsaken.

I got an exotic to drop n gambit for me the other day, and I was so excited. I was like finally I might get a forsaken exotic! They just added dupe protection and if it’s a dupe it’ll probably be armor! Guess what it was. A -blam!- HUCKLEBERRY. Not even an armor piece. So much for weighing forsaken exotics higher than y1 exotics.

100% Agree. Being 600 light all I really have to do is raid, nightfalls and competitive. I would say hunt for exotics, but yea.

10 RepliesEveryone that complains about this probably didn't play Destiny 1 very much. Just thinking about the 900 hours it took me to get Gjallarhorn or Vex Mythoclast makes me happy. Yes, I said happy. It makes the game feel even more rewarding when you get it and gives the community a reason to keep grinding (unlike year 1 of D2).

9 RepliesLet's be honest. When Anthem drops, so will Destiny population. Most players will have quit Destiny again before having meaningful exotic drops. The only real solution is to have Xur offer them. This Friday would be a good time to start.

2 RepliesPeople get excited when they hear Bungie promise to increase the rate of things in the game, but they fail to realize the stinginess of this company. I was highly skeptical when I heard that they buffed the drop rate for Forsaken or unique exotics, just as I am regarding the spawn rate for the malfeasance meatball on this full-curse week. Because they don't disclose the numbers we don't know if they might've increased it from 0.01 to 0.02. Technically it's an increase but one that makes no difference in practical terms for the players. I seriously think Bungie needs to dial down RNG altogether in this game, or at least reveal the percentages.

I agree they need to drop more often. Finally last night after playing consistently this past week since the update, I finally got an exotic to drop and guess what, it was the Skyburners Oath. Albeit, they did say you can get duplicates, but come on. (I have all Y1 exotics btw so it wasn’t anything new).

Game feels unrewarding." No surprise that there are two sides to every argument, but when one side is over 90% of the player base. It's going to be an issue. Personally, I've only received 1 forsaken exotic armor since launch, and i main all three classes, been 600 since week 4, have close to 20 complete raid clears, and up until last week, farmed every weekly and daily. My motivation to play any longer is near shot.
