A post about helping people out...And all we get in the comments are pathetic "PCMasterRace" no lifers. I'm sitting here, as a PC player, PS4 player and an XBOX One player. No platform is superior. Each have something unique to offer that gets me to use all of them. All this post is about is helping people.. It's not about arbitrary virtual nazism towards consoles. But people just can't get that through their thick heads and start creeping up out of the woodwork displaying catastrophically petty examples of bigotry OVER A POSSESSION.

You can still send and receive messages via the PSN app. Turning off messages won't stop you from communicating with clan and friends this way.

Read about this today wasn’t sure how real or panicking peanuts this was but to be on the cautious side I suggest set your message settings to friends only and if you dont know who the message is from delete it via the app not your PS4

4 RepliesThere is a fix for this,just make all messages private like i have since o got my PS4 .This is the only solution until Sony send a fix for this .This is the first real issue for about 4 years or more unlike other consoles and PC issues.Still not a great way to get everything you have wiped just set messages to private .
