  • Scout Rifle Damage Adjustment Didn’t see the Scout Rifle damage increase on the to do list. Was this done? Or was it just left off the list?

      Oh look fellow guardians someone at bungie is kicking that dead horse again and then turning around and telling us we hear you. Well bungie it’s about time you got your ears cleaned out because if you did hear us you would have Heard the Word WE DO NOT WANT MASTERWORK CORES INCLUDE IN INFUSING OR THE GAME AT ALL is that clear enough for you to understand what we as the community want? Edit: if you are going to troll for bungie don’t make it so obvious

      • The TWAB states "For full transparency, since the Ascendant Primeval Servitor spawn rate will increase significantly when these changes are released, we are tweaking how ship and Sparrow rewards drop from the boss. Vanity items are no longer guaranteed drops for subsequent boss kills after you earn the quest, instead the vanity items will now only have a chance to drop." That's not full transparency. It's an improvement but "for full transparency" you'll need to state exactly what "increase significantly " actually is [b][u]and[/u][/b] state what the "chance to drop" is.

Players want masterwork cores removed from infusion, bungie is so opposed, you can't even infuse items if it doesn't require a masterwork core.

      • So your changing the name to (insertname) Cores, and making them rewardable with a Vendor that only 1 Wanted Bounty is completed by everyone... The others are pointless after 520ish and the Bounties only give Glimmer and some materials. Make all his Bounties grant 1 Core at least. That's 5+ a day just from his bounties. How about you do that for every vendor. Planet Vendors have 3 Bounties each. Have them grant 1 Core with the completion as well. If these things are staying as a mainstay for Infusion then have Vendors award them. We all know you will probably increase the required amount of cores once you "increase areas to award more cores". So that's a good fix, All Vendors award Cores. Planet Vendor Bounties : 1 Core each per Bounty per day. Vanguard and Crucible also grant 1 which leads to 5 a day total. Have Powerful Gear Challenges grant 5. Nightfall grant 10 Raid grant 50 once a week on first completion. Per account due to amount given. Flawless trials 50 as well once a week. Per account. Due to amount given.

        • Great TWAB and all, but why doesn't year 1 armor have random rolls? It's infuriating as I don't like much of the new warlock armor.

            • Youre an absolute joke. All these known issues and still need to wait half a month to fix anything. Keep polishing bungie. Your turd is runny. Not removing MC from infusion, just adding them to bounties? What a f ing joke. Lemme guess, we will be capped on how many we can get each week as well. Bunch of monkeys throwing 💩 at each other is all your doing. Do destiny a favor and hand it over to a competent developer who can handle it. You sure cant.

              • Week after week, we keep falling for this crap about "we are aware of this", and we will fix this. But to say most of the better changes are going to be implemented on October 30th?? Like literally a whole month?? Come on man. Even the most dedicated players have to see this just seems like putting a band-aid over a gaping wound at this point. I cant wait for Black Ops to come out next week. I haven't played in forever, and maybe this is the time to move on. So we play for literally 3 and a half more weeks, like this? Sleeper ammo getting a nerf because idiots cant counter? Yeah, there's some logic for you. "Hey, let's add MWC's to bounties now for more grind"! Let them keep "grinding" to get that Forsaken exotic that never seems to drop until the 30th, they'll be fine! Looked up the definition of "insanity" online. And it showed a guardian running in a hamster wheel...

[/quote] "to anyone who could succeed" I loved raiding in D1. I had many dozens of HM clears when combining all characters (including deleted characters). I even led a few VoG/Crota raids. I had a large pool of raiders in my friends list during D1 - most were the result of raiding with friends of friends of friends. Later, we created a clan that had an active raiding component. We absolutely could succeed. All that almost completely disappeared with D2. To give raiding one last try, I had embarked on a mission to become "raid ready" as soon as possible when Forsaken first dropped, so I wouldn't be in the same position I found myself in when D2 first dropped a year ago (i.e. not being ready to raid early in the cycle, and once the few raiders we had left had been through it, they didn't want to take noobs). So, I didn't raid in D2Y1. Raiding required 8-11 hours for the "world's first" in D1Y1, but the Datto first completion time to complete The Last Wish has ballooned into an enthusiasm crushing 24 hours... Confirmation of what I suspected came as I watched a Kackis video some days ago where he completed the Last Wish. I came away gravely disappointed... There's no way I could do it. It's so much more mechanics intensive than the last raid as to border on ridiculous. I'm an older player. None that I know of, that remain of our "older" group, are raiding. I've been with Bungie since 2005. I've done a bunch of SLASO (Solo Legendary All Skulls On) missions in H/H2/H3/ODST/Reach, so I know what the word "challenging" once meant to Bungie. The newest raid is disappointing and discouraging. My Titan is now at 559... One month in, and there's no incentive to go farther...

                  • It’s pretty amazing how Bungie introduced Masterwork Cores and it immediately made Strikes more enjoyable as a result of more orbs and more Super activation. They have clearly turned a “positive experience” into a “negative experience” with this ghoulish change. Hardly anyone is making orbs as they slosh through Strikes with un-Masterworked equipment that will most likely be sharded in a day or two. Finding ways to make D2 less enjoyable is Bungie’s primary skillset...and they are GOOD at it.

                    • Right, as if you needed 4 weeks of development time to add a Masterwork Core, sorry I mean a Core formerly known as Masterwork Core, as a bounty reward. Could you please make it any more obvious that your whole Forsaken economy was about nothing but bleeding us dry?

                    • I would rather have all the exotics in the first week and actually have fun playing with them then have to go through all the content with just legendaries and have no exotics. Bungie, I know you guys don't look here for most of the criticism cause it's full of trolls but, honestly, you guys should look at these comments and see how pissed off everyone is. And guess what? You could fix it in two easy steps! 1. Remove masterwork cores from infusion 2. Increase exotic drop rates Profit!

                          I see a lot of posts complaining about the Raid no longer being fun. It also puts a lot of pressure on the new players trying to play with people who have done it several times. LFG is a mess - posts like "must have 10 clears or get kicked", must have completion emblem","must have certain weapon", etc is a norm. Can Bungie reach out to the fans (NOT 20 carefully selected uTubers) and run a survey with at least 1000+ responses on how the new activities / raid should look like (jumping puzzles, boss fights, etc).
