90% of the people who play this game don't even enter the raid because Bungie hides it from us.
Seriously, who cares?
Edit: And it looks like I'm right again. People don't care.
Bungie should make the raid more friendly for everyone to enjoy instead of hyping up this worlds first BS.
Bungie brought back D1.. now we are back to the issues we had prior to the release of D2.
Matchmaking for everything. I spend more time looking for a fireteam for NF than it take to actually play the NF on PC? At the very least give us MM for NF's?
Hail, Hail to Michigan the Champions of the West... Go Blue

There should be mm for the NF but not for raids. Think about the problems of crucible mm and put those in an activity that requires good teamwork and communication. Mm with a person that doesn't have a mic, doesn't understand english, is just afk, horrible at the game or doesn't have a good loadout gor dps would suck. There should be an in-game lfg like in overwatch but not mm. Raids are not that accessible but according to psn roughly 20% of people have completed the raid and since 10% (last time i checked) haven't even completed the campaign I'd consider 20% pretty good for an end-game activity.

What do you mean making the raid friendly. There has never been a hard raid after it has been released for a couple months. Yes, you have to learn mechanics, but that’s it, I am an average player with many raid completions of every raid. There are quite a bit of people who are willing to teach raid mechanics, perhaps not enough people but my tip to you is try the raid within the first month of release, people will have much more patience teaching you. 2 or 3 months into the expansion, that’s when there is a lack of patience for people who still don’t understand raids. Plus there is a boatload if YouTube videos so you can get a decent idea on how to do things.

Edited by Eqitx: 9/12/2018 5:29:50 AMNo biggie, just abuse the platform exploit, get the full raid gear and 1 shot everything, easiest world first ever 😂
-
I dont really get the goal of this post? Like yeah I dont care who the world's first is, but I dont know what you mean by hiding the raid? The raid is held back normally to give people a chance to light up and experience the content without feeling rushed for the raid, also because sometime a weapon is found to be way stronger then intended and wants to make sure not to ruin the raid experience It's not like you have to wait that long and are you really already at a reasonable raid light level really?

8 RepliesUpvote if you want the raids to simply be fun.... making them a matter of clock work takes all the fun out of it, heck.... Most of us just want to shoot stuff. I don't mind a challenge but ease up Bungie.

Matchmaking for nfs and escalation should be implemented. But not for raids, even guided games which was supposed to be a team of 5 and 1 random was a massive fail, 6 total randoms would be even more so, it would nearly never work out and is a waste of dev time that should be spent in productive areas. I've seen a ton of horror stories about waiting at jumping puzzles and the like. Imagine that without the team commitment that matchmaking negates, imagine the trolls, afks, underleveled gear, guys looking for a carry, players who saw it and clicked without having a clue, foreign languages, those that have no idea what to do and won't join a party, those that are just plain bad and keep wiping the team, all this leads to other players up and outing leaving you high and dry with awful teammates and the chance of more awful ones joining sometime soon. Raid matchmaking will never work and should not be implemented, everything else from trials to nightfall and escalation and blindwell should, those tasks are simple and easy to grasp immediately with room for mess ups

Bungie hides it from you? All the raids were clearly marked on my directory’s, from D1 till now. Maybe you’ve got a bug.
-
Well, D2 ran off most of my clan, so we never had much of a shot anyway. And, my state is about to get slammed with a massive hurricane, so I'm not even sure I'll have power and internet on release day.

1 ReplyIf you have trouble finding a team for NF then you dont have friends to play destiny. Let alone no wonder raid is something strange to you. Raid is endgame pve content. Clearly not for you. So why do you even care to make a post for something you dont care? and no, im not hardcore or anything my and friends kinda suck raid wise.

Worrying about world first in a video game is stupid

World's First is cool. I know I'd never come close but i like to watch other people try
-
I don’t care for getting worlds first myself but I do respect the team/players who do. Is a cool thing

11 Replies"people dont care" yeah dude AN ENTIRE 600 PEOPLE!!!!111 ...in a game with literally millions of players. People care, just you and some others dont. You dont represent anyone, and we dont care what you think about world first. Crying for upvotes doesnt make you cool fyi.

Raids would never get completed with random matchmade teams. However there should be and endgame lfg.

1 ReplyEdited by Uncle_Baby_Bobby: 9/11/2018 5:16:11 PMRaids are endgame content for fireteams of 6. It is meant for groups of friends who want the ultimate PvE challenge. The rewards are great, the experience is great, the challenge is great. LFG/matchmaking has a tendency to be toxic because those involved are not friends. When friends raid, if one guy continuously messed up the group laughs and makes fun of him/her, then cheers when he/she finally gets it done. With randoms, if one person continuously messed up they are kicked or bullied into quitting. These activities are meant for friends to do them together. Sure, you can have a positive LFG experience, I have on several occasions. But you are 100% guaranteed to have a good time if you do them with friends, as raids are intended to be. Make some friends who play, form a bond. Join an open clan that raids and LISTEN when they offer to help you. Be a good sport. Be a good teammate. Keep your composure if someone joins after you and they're making the same mistakes you used to. But don't blame Bungie for making an endgame meant for buddies.

2 RepliesProbably had access to the raid weeks prior and know what to do/have a inside man at bungie but theyll act slow on stream just for show. Bungie premeditates this shit. And to reduce others having a chance they -blam!-ed up the progression last week so that most of us wont play....good job my forsaken boner is gone. In all honest, this is my last destiny game. I may or may not get the annual pass, but pass on D3. Kind of sick of his live service in these video games. Skipping anthem also.

other than that Michigan crap, i agree. I dont give a rats ass about a 6 man puzzle.

Got my vote!

1 ReplyThere is no point trying to go for worlds first if you play on console, you'll never get it. And here's why. PC will always get world's first due to having low load times and the movement speed is superior due to frame rates. Just look at all the fastest completions for everything in d2 they are all set on PC
