Should get their points. I’m frustrated beyond belief at the moment. Up at 5am in the morning with work in 9 hours. Grinding out sweaty ass competitive matches and getting the -blam!- no where. While it’s putting a hardship on me, my body, and my relationship due to the fact I’m only 100 points away from having the Redrix Claymore and I may not end up getting it.
To have wasted so much time trying to grind out this shitty ass system just to beat 5 teams IN A ROW, just so I don’t have to waste an ADDITIONAL 40+ hours trying to finish this quest after Season 4 begins. I would have it by now, I would have had it WEEKS ago if I got my completion points each week. But Bungie had a bug that they left in the system that they voluntarily decided to leave it there.
All of this ultimately holding me back for getting this weapon that I have put DAYS into trying to achieve already! I work the next 3 days, I won’t even get to participate in the Gambit trial due to work.
All of this could have been avoided if Bungie could give everyone their rightfully deserved points for completely 3 or more matches a week. If anyone is willing to help me try to get the Redrix I’m only 100 point shy of obtaining it. Only 5 straight wins.
But I highly doubt Bungie is going to even bother fixing any of these issues. I am the 99% just like the rest of you all. I have no voice, because I’m not a streamer, I’m not a YouTuber either. Just little ole’ RynoTheTurtle 🐢 and that’s I will ever be.
Edit 1: To those of you who are concerned that I don’t have my priorities straight, I do. I go to work everyday on time, I do the chores around the house, my girlfriend fully supports me in trying to get the Redrix Claymore. The reason why I say it’s putting hardship on me, my body, and my relationship is because I become so stressed when I play for 5 hours and have no progress added towards the Redrix. I have to play at Midnight because that is when my girlfriend goes to bed. And her and I play Call of Duty before she goes to bed, but all I think about is the fact that I am wasting valuable time in getting the Redrix.
I’m not someone that puts this game in front of everything. It’s just that I honestly try. And I’m not a terrible player, I just have a bad game from time to time. It’s the matter of the fact that there was once a moment when the game rewarded you for playing, not necessarily getting wins but for playing weekly, AND I WOULD HAVE IT ALREADY but that function is no longer available! If I actually get this thing before Forsaken I will be in awe. And that’s sad to say because it’s only 100 points...
Edit 2: I finally got it! I appreciate the support everyone. The grind was -blam!-ing REAL! But I finally got it! It feels amazing to finally have it. It was great guys. I’m so glad that I don’t have to grind out a 40+ hour quest to get what I truly earned.

grats, I am in a similar boat, I will not be able to get, made through half way through rank more than a week ago but I cant get any winning streaks together and now I am just going back down. and now we are hours away and almost back down to start of rank 1,

2 RepliesSo you play prior to work? Assuming your on 2nd shift... From a 3rd shifter . After work is better.
-
3 RepliesYou should probably just stop now before your physical health worsens, trust me unfortunately I’m faced with insomnia so sleep isn’t something I normally get so let me tell you....you DO NOT want to lose sleep It’ll turn ugly real fast

4 RepliesEdited by N1NJ4W4RR10R_: 9/2/2018 12:17:27 PMI doubt bungie purposely left it there. But I do agree they shoulda given out those points. Edit: Anyway, goodluck with it. I was not putting myself through that this season, but I know the pain of a difficult activities rewards being dictated by RNG.

1 ReplyHey man, I know what you are talking about. I lost my sanity when playing Competitive. Best of Luck. Hopefully RNGesus blesses you with a team you can easily stomp on. Be sure to update us on when you get it!
-
1 ReplyMany people would be down to help but this ultra negative energy you put out with this post is a no go. Should have approached it way differently. Good luck man. Hope you join the club, but try for more positive vibes next time
-
2 RepliesPlease, update us in the future if you managed to get the claymore in time. I wish you luck, good sir / lady !
-
1 ReplyYou get it yet?
-
1 ReplyDude I think I’ve actually solo queued and played with you and we won! I already have redrix, and few your pain, if you wanna try grinding out the last 100 point together send me an invite, good luck
-
Congrats man
-
TLDR... salty because he feels entitled to the redrix, also had to go to work at 1400
-
15 RepliesSex first.......always. -blam!- that gun
-
1 ReplyIf stressed...stop chasing the gun...you’ll be fine without it just like 90+% of us. Get a grip
-
You need less than 70 points and you’re on a 0 game win streak. This is very very do able. Go to LfG and cherry pick the hell out of your team.
-
Look for a fireteam on the LFG forms. Hopefully one with the same goal as you.
-
4 RepliesYou only get ~40 extra points each week, I doubt that did much🤪
-
8 RepliesIf this dude wants to put all the time he can into getting the gun, great! It’s his time and this is what he wants. His point wasn’t even that he’s missing out on other shit in life. It’s that he’s chosen to play Bungie’s game and they’re dicking him over, by not delivering. I’m 100% with you there. Comp is a complete and utter failure. Hope you get it man. God knows the rest of us don’t stand a chance.

Git gud

If you’re stressing over a video game that serves as your daily entrainment you’re doing it wrong. Just my 2cents
there are more important things to worry about then getting a particular gun in a game. Just think this Tuesday you’ll probably find a better weapon to chase after for.
1 ReplyDude, I tried and tried with a team and even solo. Strange thing is that while playing solo I would have great matches against opponents. So my journey stopped with the second rank of the glory which is brave. I would wait for the new quest line because it’s better and will bring enjoyment knowing the fact that another version of the weapon is obtainable. So I would relax and wait my friend. Please don’t stress your self out!

5 RepliesYou are entitled to nothing. You get out of life what you put into somethings in life, and if your inability to play more is due to you having a life, what gives you the right to claim you’re owed something at all? Entitled, entitled, entitled. Respect, btw, is also earned, not just given. Free pro-tip on life
-
3 RepliesI understand your pain and after months of my own, I finally got it this morning. I would run with you to help but alas, our consoles are not compatible.
-
Good luck, man. I hope you get it.
-
2 RepliesI get the frustration, most folks don't seem to understand that you've already prioritized other things that are more important than D2, and you're frustrated. The weirdest thing is that they don't seem to understand that you can BOTH prioritize other things in your life and still be frustrated enough to vent over a video game.

Triggered much?

The weekly points are a bonus - not something you are entitled to. If you want the gun, put in the grind. But you have to strike a balance and find where that balance lies. Is it really worth all putting yourself through all of the anguish? At least don’t blame Bungie for not giving you free points. In my opinion, if you need free points to get Claymore, you probably won’t end up getting it, unfortunately.
