Why is Gunslinger still the worst subclass in the game
I dont see why throwing knife isnt a 1 hit but shoulder charge is? Reasoning?!?!

Shoulder charge entails more risks to pull it off. Throwing knife does not. Risk vs reward.

4 RepliesSigh dude right now gunslinger is in a good spot who cares about the fkn little knife when you have a super that can at range drop pretty much anything in pvp. Titans bubbles pfft golden gun , That arc warlockly blindly screaming towards you . Golden gun That bladedancer mashing buttons hoping to hit something . Golden gun . Even that striker running straight at you to blow his load all prematurely ... golden gun . The knife is there for a pre tickle !

Shoulder charge is ohk but it is high risk high reward kind of thing. I feel sorry for Bungie, no way to satisfy this community.

I mean, throwing knife [i]does[/i] have a fairly generous hitbox. Not to mention it isn't as risky or easy to read as Charge. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

4 RepliesShoulder charge requires you to charge in to get a kill. Now since shotguns and fusions are more available, it makes sense. Even then everything kills faster so charging head on most likely means death. Throwing knife can be used at a range and is fairly easy to land a hit.

Gunslinger is mainly a PvE subclass. That’s why we have Celestial Nighthawk for it

10 RepliesGetting one shot across the map by a lucky throwing knife without ever even seeing the person who threw it isn't fun. You can shotgun a shoulder charger, or gun them down, if someone throws a knife what are you gonna do, catch it?

Because there’s less risk involved throwing a knife vs landing a shoulder charge. It didn’t ohk in D1 under most circumstances and it was still great.

Reasoning?!?![/quote] I agree with you, gunslinger isnt very good in D2, knives should be able to one shot HEADSHOT, not a one hit kill to the body, and golden gun shouldn't take 2 shots to kill a super unless you use the bottom tree and aim at the head but the bottom tree has nothing else crucible related so theres really not point in using it.
