Today felt really weird, today was my last first day of school. It put things into perspective, it made me think about how I'm going to be a teenager for a very short amount of time, and once that's over you're an adult for the rest of your life. It's kinda sad, and exciting at the same time. And I swear each year goes by faster, I know before I know it I'll be an old man. I swear every old person has told me that, how time flys by and to them it seems like yesterday they were young. I know it sounds ridiculous for me to talk about time flying, since I'm only 17, but I can't stop thinking about it. Anyway I just felt like writing that.

Edited by Kaishi Ritsu: 8/25/2018 12:58:53 PM18 soon to be 19 in October here I may be an adult but I still do stuff my teenage self did. That being said I dropped out during freshmen year and my life up to 14 is a blur. The summer before high school started for me was when I was 14 and well my life kinda took a turn for the worse. Stress is what leads you to forget some of those childhood moments.

Yep once you hit 21 there's nowhere to go but sideways because shortly after that your metabolism begins to slow down. By the time you reach your mid forties your youth is nothing more than a fond memory. Good Luck

As a homeschooled high schooler, I can't really relate. One of the few problems I faced as a homeschooler was that everything just melded together. Each day was the same as the last (holidays being an exception of course). Weekends I would play games for hours on end, during the week I played 2 hours each day. School all felt the same with each passing year.

Enjoy it .

Alright nerd, listen, do whatever you want right now. Live in a van for a few years, join the military, go star in porn, do whatever, just don't wait. If you wait you get complacent and suddenly you're 22 and stuck where you are because of people that want you to live how they want. Don't feel any obligations to friends or family, just do it before you get lazy. There's nothing worse than regret.

I'm 19. And 20 in 3 days. As an adult, nobody knows what they are doing. But you are correct. Time flys way faster than you think

Are the servers for that game good? Dedicated servers I hope...

I have noticed that time is flying by, and soon life will up the difficulty by 100%. Which is why, in my opinion, is to enjoy your youth while it lasts. Good luck man.

I feel you man, even now I’m going into junior year and I look back 3-4 years ago and actually feel sad I’ll never get to experience something like my childhood again

And I swear each year goes by faster,
You have no idea.... Not your fault by any means, just once you're out of high school and go onto the next phase of your life, time gets a little faster each passing year. For me, it was just Christmas last month (figuratively of course), but it seems like a blur after awhile.

Once you're in your final year of school you feel old. Once you start in the workforce you realise you are really young.

4 RepliesIf you’re only 17, it’s not your last first day of school. Unless you aren’t going to college
