Edited by juicehead2004: 7/30/2018 2:30:52 PMFinished it last week with almost 5 minutes to spare,and Me and 2 clan mates finished the heroic with 7 minutes to spare this week. As long as u have a good strat it’s not hard at all. Just keep practicing the jumping puzzle solo til u can get thru in like 5-6 mins. Loadout we used is a kinetic scout, void auto for acolyte and wizard shields and a solar EP shotty for knights or Sleeper.. Then once u get to bosses switch to a solar scout ( Polaris or Mannan) and I personally went with Sleeper for my heavy , some people went to Borealis with solar ionic return and it wrecked . Immediately went in and took down left and right and center blight , one each . Then when all ads spawn in have an Arcstrider w/ Raiden flux pop super and u can clear every single ad in the room solo. Then have the one other guy pop his super and use it on boss , hold one super back for that annoying capt and when he gets to be a pain pop it on him and use the rest on a boss . Everyone stay to the very back where u drop down and just dps from there. Don’t use the caves as the bosses will be harder to snipe and they hide over there. If u stay in the middle they’ll stay right there for u easy to snipe and hit with ur scouts.. also focus all ur dps on the bosses, don’t bother shooting ads and make suicide runs for heavy when u need it..

I love this mission. I'm a little underleveled for the heroic mission in my opinion.. But, since I love it so much I keep joining fireteams to help people get it. All a lot of people need is a little guidance, and small tips to get them through. I even helped some guy get it on his very first try. This kind of content is what this game needs. A ridiculously hard mission where the community needs to help each other.

It’s the weirdest thing how the spawns are set up. I returned from a trip on Saturday and found that the Taken Blight was the only event spawning at that location . In fact it spawned about 9 times in a row for people. It’s weird how it will do that at times and then not at all for others.

Oh I got it, but I was carried 100% and fully admit it. I was able to get to the second mob room solo but that's it. I kept up with them, but at 370 I died many, many times. Thanks to my son and his friend.

Hooked up with 2 randoms last light that were waiting around and got it on 1st run. Knowing the green room shortcut is the key. Got done with 2 minutes remaining. I'm sure teams are doing it quicker than that.

Not yet, when you only have an hour or two to play and have the choice of sitting on IO for two hours or running a Lair or 9 person EP the WoTW can wait....

I’ve gotten it and I’ve been helping people get it too but the real difficulty is waiting for the Blight PE to spawn. More times than not when I was a Sherpa for a group the cabal PE kept spawning in addition to long wait times between the events so I understand why some didn’t do it. It really interferes with the limited time some people play.

Now I have an OP sniper which I like. But the taken blight event spawn is bad! I did have to wait a lonnnnng time for it to spawn.

1 ReplyOh yeah, I got mine. It was a challenging experience. It really gave me the thought that I had finally met my match, that I was defeated fair and square in PvE. I had a sense of reality, formed by doubt and a self inflicted sense of unworthiness. I learned two things when I surmounted this obsticle: -God never gave me a challenge I couldn't overcome. - I will not be insulting Hunters for a while. (Arcstrider, wherever you are, thank you, you are the redemption fit to seal my prejudice towards your kind)
