Took me several days of grinding on IO with the BS loot cool downs to get my set....now it’s just there for you to buy. I just don’t understand the reasoning behind this change. It’s not like you couldn’t get it before......

I remember grinding the hell out of IO for almost a full month just trying to get the final piece. The helmet..... and getting the legs or that stupid linear Fusion gun...EVERY. FREAKIN. TIME. But I finally got it, and now that set is used exclusively for my stormcaller with the lunafaction Exotic boots.😀

I spent 4 hours farming Io tokens today and finally got the gauntlets to drop. I then found out that I could have easily bought the helmet and gauntlet if I didn’t give Asher all my tokens...why does always happen to me? Why?

1 ReplyBeing able to buy whole armor sets is the dumbest idea ever with static perks. There was already soooo little grind without random perks, and this just takes away what little there was. That layer of RNG you had to go through to get the statically rolled gear was the only thing that made having something worthwhile. Bungie just doesn't get it. When people are talking about vendors selling items, they mean with random perks on a rotation just like D1 Y3. You can't have vendors selling there wares if there is no randomness or variety to them. They need to roll back this horrible idea ASAP or it's going to make the game even worse. I almost forgot 3 of coins is on the way and that stupid thing that guarantees you an exotic you don't have. This game might as well just hand you anything you want without even playing. The only way this is going to work is if they go back to random perks or seriously overhaul the mod system with an additional slot and D1 type perks and have everything bought and dropped come with random mods.
