I'm having an issue since last week where sometimes in-game i'm seeing a flickering issue of the graphics, which is fixed by Alt-Tabing back into the game.
- First video (https://youtu.be/8bLaKflCYKM) shows the flickering issue. Video is showing it worse then it is, probably due to how geforce experience is recording it (its more subtle in the game).
- Second video (https://youtu.be/Gf9nk96-iq8) shows what it looks like after Alt-Tab. Issue goes away (until later in a map where it can come back).
My specs are:
CPU: Core i7-7700k
64 GB DDR4-2400 RAM
2 x EVGA GTX 1080 (SLI) with latest drivers (388.31)
Monitor: 2560x1440, 144Hz with G-Sync Enabled
SSD for OS/Game
I have tried re-installing drivers clean, and re-installing Destiny 2, but no change. Other then this issue, the game runs smoothly otherwise.

Same issue here, it's 12/28, dunno how to fix it, and the flickering hurts my eyes

I'm having the exact same issue! I've also started a new thread over at https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/239901283 if you'd like to add onto that for more visibility!

1 ReplyEdited by renowned_vagabond: 12/6/2017 9:49:26 PMHaving the exact same issue here. Rolled back my nvidia drivers in case that was the issue, but the problem persisted, so it looks like it came through in one of Bungie's updates. Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K 3.4GHz 16.0 GB DDR3 RAM 2 x Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 SLI, tried drivers 388.13, 388.31, and 388.43 Windows 10, 64 bit Monitor: 1920X1080, no HDR, FPS capped at 60, v-sync on Haven't tried the alt-tab work-around, but that shadow flickering makes the game really tough to play when it pops up...and honestly, might even pose a health risk for people susceptible to that sort of thing? Even as someone who isn't, this glitch really does a number on your eyes and brain, tough to even look at, never mind trying to shoot and stay alive at the same time. Please fix, this bug is a bad one! Or, at least give us a reply, so we know this issue is being looked at?

1 ReplyI think I have found a temporary fix. open the config .xml file from the following location: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs set framerate_cap to value "60" (you may have to try different values for your hardware setup)

Same issue here. SLI 1080 Ti's. 4k HDR turned on. Was working perfectly until the last patch when the shadow flickering appeared.

1 ReplySame issue here. There have been numerous threads regarding the problem. Hope they fix it by the DLC drops.

I had the same issue. Turned off G-Sync and turned on V-Sync. Apparently SLI and HDR are messed up with V-Sync turned off.

Yeah I have this issue as well along with stuttering. Horribly annoying.

1 Replyyou are not alone, this exact same issue is happening to me, tried reinstalling drivers, tried messing with shadows and lighting effects... nothing works. I though it could be due to my monitor running gsync. That has no influence on the problem. They broke something between the nvidia drivers 388.13 and the patch. Please fix your beautiful game for me to enjoy again 8}
