I did and now I'm stuck with this "iteration". RIP my wallet
Also the f with those "Bungie employees from that stream. They look like they picked them up in a coffee shop. Old grandma and a guy I'm pretty sure still uses the term wizard. And let's not forget how "enthusiastic" they sounded when describing the "new" campaign and "onion raid". No emotion. They just want that nice Holiday bonus cheq.
Also I neglected to mention this game gives you the opposite of friendship. It alienates you because you are the only one playing and no ones else plays it anymore. Thanks Deej

1 Replyfor the most part d2 is about the same as d1 when it was new. granted could select strikes and pvp modes.
-
I think that would involve everyone except the people who knew Bungie would -blam!- up.

Guilty

Good way to put it,not going to bash the game I've done it enough. Bought this thinking it would be a continuation of D1,clearly it's not. When ghaul took our light, he really did and we never got it back. But we heard for months it would be more casual friendly, which it is. But they also said that it would also be for the hardcores (lie),which it isn't.

Funny watching deej try to play in stream. Doesn't even know the ps4 buttons. Has to look at the controller just to find the x button. Then dies 20sec into gameplay stream......

Yeah came to d2 thinking it wouldve capitalized on the greatness d1 had became. i joined d1 after its first xmas and the game got better and better. Taken king was the sweet spot. D2 is a completely different exp. Im here to support but to be honest if i wouldve gotten this game first. I would be playing far less..nothing to grind for.. destiny 1 had the magic. Random rolls on gear. Now its like blah. Not even a good shoot anymore. Only thing this game has going for it is gameplay. Cant choose modes, 30fps which was ok to deal with before thinking ps3 held it back, no random rolls, why would i use x gun if y gun has the roll i want.. social aspect of the game isnt there gotta come to this app to lfg which is a chore, 4v4 in cricible sucks. Takes to long to kill someone in a gun fight. I can go on and on lol . Game is ok but its no were near d1 from year 2-3

I did but I’m over it I suggest you do the same.

Edited by DocClusky: 11/17/2017 10:00:48 PMThe Sad Tale Of TheBlackBandit45 This is the tale of a lad and a game. This was no ordinary game he loved. This game was Destiny. He loved this game and would play it any chance he got. This is not a happy tale but one filled with remorse and regret. The lad bought the sequel to his favorite game but it was not what he expected. Once upon a time there was a lad, theblackbandit45, he played Destiny which was one of his favorite games. This lad loved Destiny so much that without hesitation he ran to the store to preorder the sequel. He purchased the biggest and best version of the game he could find. He was confident that the sequel would be great because he loved the original. When the game he loved finally came out he played it and enjoyed it. The lad completed the game and quickly he realized that the game he loved was not what he expected. The game he loved became boring and he played less and less because there was nothing to do. The lad realized that this game was nothing like the original. Frustration fell upon him. He grew angry with the game that he once loved. Every once in awhile he would turn the game on and stare at the main menu and reminisce of the good times he had on the original. He quickly realized that he was not the only one whole felt the same about this new game. As time went on he realized the game wouldn't ever be the same and he slowly stopped playing the game and moved on for the best. Even till this day he regrets buying the sequel to his favorite game and he wishes it would of been the game he always wanted. The End

I did and honestly, it's better. For the most part.

Yea I played D1 for 3+ years strait. D2 feels like a spit in my face. If other people enjoy it great it's my opinion I feel cheated and won't purchase anything from Bungie again.

Relax its just a beta

"Old Grandma and a wizard" lol

3 RepliesI think that fat chick was luke smiths sister:)
-
And I will never buy a bungie product again.

3 RepliesI dropped more at the bar last night than I did on this game. Wallet is still alive from both purchases, and I am not currently shitting out Destiny in horrible fashion.
The Advil and Gatorade expansion pack is in my future.
3 RepliesI never played the last two expansions of d1 because they seemed like side quests as opposed to continuing the original story destiny started with. It had a lot of mystery behind it and I wanted to see how it unfolded. I was looking forward to learning more about the exo steamer and the vex and the darkness, but after vanilla Destiny none of that came back again. I suppose because there was so much backlash. I guess I was foolish to believe that d2 would actually pick up on the only good story line destiny has ever had and they would make something meaningful out of what most considered a blunder. I always enjoyed the game play and loot system of destiny and how fun and epic the raids were. If they went back to the story that originally got me hooked on the game this game would be perfect to me. But now not only have they abandoned the story, they abandoned a lot of the elements that made the game just fun to play.

1 ReplyThat's why it's called The Curse of Osiris. Because he knew it all from the beginning, skipping D1. Now he's back to repair all this D2 mess. And he cursed a lot also.
-
Osiris suddenly turned egyptian with a different accent from D1 to D2 Every end crawls from the same pit https://youtu.be/q3SOTKAlB5o

I logged 2,500+ hours in Destiny and specifically didn't purchase Destiny 2 because of how Bungie operates. From the beginning of year two, the decline of Destiny is undeniable. The D2 beta was awful. The changes that were leaked were set to remove the parts of Destiny that kept me playing.
-
I have over 1100 hours in D1 and still play. I am completely bored with D2 already. Haven’t even done any reset stuff this week. Sad.

Edited by MightyJonE: 11/17/2017 9:53:58 PMIf you mean based on my experience of playing a hollow incomplete game with awful RNG, a painfully repetitive grind, a too short incoherent campaign that explained nothing, meagre activities and some shallow half-baked expansions.... Then yes!
