Meh.
That’s the title of his latest D2 video.
Mr. Fruit, the Destiny youtuber known for being positive was finally broken by D2. He goes on to say that he was trying to do a video on the Origin Story auto rifle but fell into how bored he is with D2 already and is simply waiting for the DLC to judge if D2 is even worth it.
Never would I think Fruit would descend into this D2 is bad funk.
So yeah I guess you can throw “we broke Mr. Fruit” under your belt now too Bungie. When does the damage control start?

So someone peeled his banana?

1 ReplyGothalion was saying yesterday on stream that he is not into Destiny 2 content. That is troubling.
-
1 ReplyIt’s really sad. The Dream Team is destiny’s team. They have been loyal and hilarious for the past 3 years and D2 has broken them. Bungie better fix this game fast before it burns to ashes
-
1 ReplyI watch a lot of Mr. Fruit's content. I really can't remember him getting down on a game. He's always Mr. Positive. Sign of the times....
-
It’s not a funk. It’s just not good and most of those getting paid from it aren’t gonna say it’s bad. Good on him.

Honestly just clicked this thread because of OP tag struck a memory in my mind along the lines of outlaw star. However I also agree with the lack of interest destiny has created for itself. It had become a chore to play more so then the promised epic adventure we had hoped for. I can only hope they fix it.

3 RepliesWatched the video. He’s pissy cause he kept getting dropped and did not have the sense to disengage. To funny!!! Lol
-
1 ReplyI think Mr. Fruit is a funny guy always reasonable and upbeat. It was a bit of a surprise when he goes right into that at about minute 2:40 of the video. You know there's a problem (which we already do) when guys like Fruit take such a turn.

3 RepliesTHIS GAME SUCKS FIRE LUKE SMITH
-
That is sad. This game inspires no one anymore...
-
I enjoyed Mr. Fruit until I started to dislike Destiny... then I just unsubscribed from all those puppet streamers. Couldn't fathom how many stood by this game.
-
8 Repliesnever heard of him

3 RepliesLet's be honest, breaking someone as irritating as Mr Fruit isn't exactly a bad thing. Hopefully Blessious will be next... 😈
-
21 RepliesWho cares? It one guy. I still enjoy the game quite a bit. It's one guys opinion.
-
Mr. Fruity?

5 RepliesThis guy is a huge influence on the Destiny community. He creates a lot of fun playlists that anyone could create themselves, has fun with his friends, they never get mad to the point of breaking things and are always having a great time. Hell, I bought the Destiny PS4 edition console and literally just sold it to buy Destiny 2 on PC. On PC, it feels way better. I would have sacrificed detail on console to reach 60fps, but no, 60fps doesn’t matter on console even though they are ADVERTISED with the ability. Console people don’t care about quality even if you fake the look. Fix your shit Bungie. YOU created Halo that had one of the best stories EVER in gaming and peoples childhood. Now, you only focus on the story of the first Destiny 2 mission and that’s it.

3 RepliesYea, this game sucks.
-
6 RepliesIve seen a couple other YouTubers actually putting down D2. Something i was very surprised to see since they are usually always so very positive. I guess that just shows you how bad D2 really is.
-
While I really don't put much weight to YouTubers and Streamers views since they make their money off of games I have always enjoyed Mr. Fruit and I think his frustration is something that many are feeling right now. It was kind of sad seeing him seem so down during a video when he is usually so up beat and fun. Between all the negativity in the community and seeing people just be miserable with something that is supposed to be fun it has made me stay away from the forums and groups I use to visit daily. Such a shame that something we all love has made so many sad and angry.

19 RepliesI saw a graph on utube this morning showng that bungie has lost 78% of it's players since the release of D2 and still they will not support what their customers want. GET RID OF THE TIMER IN NF.
-
If you watch his followup video, he mentions that he's looking for a change in the meta and faster paced pvp (hopefully on PC).

Edited by A Syrian Refugee: 10/24/2017 7:22:25 PMBungies laziness broke the game Theres still the MORE content in vanilla D2 than vanilla D1. The difference is D1 had desirable loot. IN D2 Bungie went the route of Static Rolls and Tokens Static rolls destroy the players ability to grind for a desirable god roll. People spent Sooooooooo much time grinding for god rolls in crucible and PVE. But due to Bungies laziness and not wanting to balance they just took the easy way out. Noww when you get a gun theres no reason to even check to see if its better because its probably the 1000th time youve already gotten that gun and its been the same exact gun every time Tokens. Being given tokens at the end of a match or PVE activity is not exciting. Turning these tokens in to get the same rolled guns 20 times a day is not exciting. Bungie we were joking when we said Destiny 1 was a slot machine we didn't actually want you to add coins and turn I into one.

2 RepliesHas Cuphead Killed D2?!?!?! Ever since Cupheads release Destiny 2 has being losing players left and right (some have taken there lives due to the difficulty and others are still stuck on boss 4). You can go to the destiny tracker site and clearly see that since the launch of Cuphead destiny has taken a huge hit in player base numbers. if you dont believe me look for yourself. https://demo.destinytracker.com/destiny/reports/daily-population

He still has a fantastic speaking voice. Just saying.

1 ReplyI hear Mr Fruit is so depressed, he’s thinking of leaving “the loom”.
😂😂😂😂
This is sad.
