Can't you guys partner with smartwater and Chiquita or something?
I don't drink sodas, energy drinks, eat Doritos or any of the other junk foods the codes are always on...put it on some water or almonds!
EDIT: Wow woke up to this blowing up! Appreciate all the conversation on this. To be fair the I picked Dasani in the title name originally cause it was the first thing I thought of and I rarely buy bottled water. I did take a look around the house to see if we had any and the only bottled water I could find was smartwater. I think the point stands though, those of us who like to be healthy and game as well would like some healthy options to get codes without dumpster diving.
EDIT #2: Gotten some message about what this is about and for those that aren't aware Rockstar will be having codes on their energy drinks for free stuff in Destiny 2. EDIT #3: I took the kids comment out. Felt it was outside of what we are talking about, and really people feed their kids all kinds of terrible convenience foods including and not limited to energy drinks. We'll leave it at that.
EDIT #4: Changed title to include bananas as well since it's energy drinks AND pop-tarts now!

9 RepliesBeing able to buy 3 engrams a week for the duration of the promo is a bit like pay to win unless those engrams decode at light level 3 and require another weapon/armour to be infused before they become useful as is the case with the eververse stuff. If they decide like any other ingame engram then this is a dodgy step forward.

It's the norm to eat crap like that yet my coworkers think I'm weird because I make all my lunches every Sunday for the week....

I agree. I don't like energy drinks whatsoever, but I could understand as it's aimed towards gamers, people who actually drink it.

It appears their food choices limit their higher brain function. More importantly I need you to know that Bottled Water is not good for you in any way shape or form

Would work if a large percentage of the player base was buying water over energy drinks, but I'm guessing that isn't the case.

They know how to make money buddy. The majority of the money Bungie makes, is from teen's parents (buying them the game and dlc). They know that the majority of gamers are teenagers that will buy Doritos and Energy Drinks. But I feel you so, bump.

13 RepliesI would never give my son an energy drink. Bungie should ask them selves if they would let their kids drink this shit, if the answer is no then why have it as a promotional device. It's kind of a slap in the face to the community, like we are all fat slobs that drink soda and eat bags of chips.
