Did anyone actually enjoy the beta?

I personally enjoyed it, but my friends refer to me as the video game evangelist. I have a knack for finding the good in things instead of focusing on the bad. Anyone else out there enjoy the beta? Why or why not? I'd love to discuss rationally. Edit: Thank you everyone for your amazing input and points of view. I'm off to bed. I'll be sure to read through everyone's posts.

  • It's meh at best when you're playing with friends, but the game is trying to force you to quit playing when you're going solo into any activity. In PvE in general, during the story mission and the strike: There are no exciting events happening at all and your Ghost is just trying to be a clown whenever he desires. And for PvP, it takes FOREVER to take someone down when you're only using a primary weapon. It just feels like the game is forcing you to play it a certain way with the forced subclass builds and the lack of damage from individual players. Also, I didn't see any surprises or twists that made me think "cool" or "I didn't see that one coming". It's more like "Ok, I'll just do that" or "It says shoot it, so I'm shooting it". Big disappointment. With all the info we got before the beta was out I already wasn't expecting much but this was even less than I thought. I will end on a good node because the Farm did look more like a social space then any D1 social spaces, even without vendors.
