Why do I get made fun of for liking paladins?
People assume I'm some poor kid for liking the game. I love overwatch over every FPS I played in the last 2 years (I pre ordered it), until I stumbled across paladins.
Then you gotta deal with all the ppl who says "it's a rip off" while other ppl argue that the game was in development "before overwatch was an idea"
Blah blah blah (I really don't care... ima gamer)
I love overwatch, paladins, and that style of gaming. I want more games like that to come out, I'm tired of the cod, halo, battlefields now.
I just like the front line/tank characters and healers a lot more in paladins than I do overwatch, and I love the in game perks, riding the horse to get back to the action faster, health regenerating, and the way you can customize a loadout with cards.
I just don't understand why other gamers have to assume I'm some broke boy for playing paladins, these "elite" gamers talk down on me. My bad for liking paladins.

Edited by D34N0000: 7/14/2017 11:37:11 AMNo idea, overwatch has as much copied TF2, so its a little childish. But I actually think its more enjoyable as a solo player due to the health regeneration. Not having to worry about who your team mates are using every game is great. I play and enjoy both. Overwatch is definitely more competitive. Paladins is way more chill and forgiving on solo players. I prefer paladins however, sue me.

Wouldn't make fun of anyone for playing it, but you have to admit how hilarious of a clone it is compared to overwatch. It's like if a dev made a fighting game called Mortal Champions, and had characters called Below Zero, Liu Chang, Jimmy Cage, etc.

You're welcome to like whatever as long as it's fun for you, but I just never got Paladins really. I won't say it felt like an overwatch clone, but it felt very similar without as good of a sense of impact which I think Overwatch happens to do very well. It was a small touch that I wasn't aware mattered to me but for me that sort of sucked the fun out because I couldn't help but compare them.

I thought it was alright but it felt like the horses defeated how gamechanging it could be to get a team wipe, but I can't really rmbr how long the spawn times where either.
