What? Did we suddenly go back in time to where Private Matches weren't in Destiny?

12 RepliesI understand it is odd there are no private matches but lets be real here, how many people really use private matches anyway? I could see if the private match system we have now was as extensive as OW's custom game settings where you can mess with the way the game plays, but you can't...so does it really matter? I'd rather no private matches at launch but true CUSTOM games later than what we have now which is SUPER barebones.

7 RepliesDevelope a game as quick as possible. Hack it down to the absolute minimum. Sell all cut material as DLC every few months to stay "fresh and relevant". Sadly this is how all video games work now. Capitalism is destroying this industry.

Unless they are withholding private matches for a later time because a Forge mode is coming with it... Even still, outside of the first week it was launched, did anyone even play Private Matches? I sure didn't. So as previously said, if they are building a Forge mode and plan on letting us crack open Private Matches like they did in Halo, I'm 1000% ok with PMs not being in the base game. Only 99% ok with no PMs if no Forge is in the works.

I'm a interview with FireTeam Chat they said that it won't be available at launch but it will be out shortly after. I may be wrong but I think they said it will be out before the first DLC.

1 ReplyI heard The Master Chief Collection has private matches AND dedicated servers. Seems like it would be a great fit for you. I mean, Halo kids make second accounts to make themselves look better too so I'm sure you'd fit right in. But your main go-to playlist is trials/elimination. Sounds like you might have to go to CoD. Either way, for everyone, it's a win win situation if you'd please leave. Thanks Bud!
