What? Did we suddenly go back in time to where Private Matches weren't in Destiny?

3 RepliesI get a kick out of people who use the word "entitled" to discredit any criticism levied at bungie. It's a fairly weak attack but i suppose young people take offense to it or they have a limited vocabulary. Who knows. Anyway, yea, with the unparalleled success destiny has enjoyed there is no excuse for not ponying up the $ for servers. I don't play pvp much at all so I'm trying to be objective. I hope it turns out to be a fun game regardless.

5 RepliesFirst of all, private matches may return as custom matches. And second, dedicated servers are old technology, very expensive and not very reliable. We are not going back to p2p, we are going to have something like titanfall 2 which involves the cloud

Not having them at launch is unfortunate, but people wouldn't be sinking time into them in the first few months anyway. No clue why they won't give us dedicated servers with all of their talk about pushing Destiny towards a competitive nature though..

Private matches could be added at a later date that's fine not a big deal to me. But the lack of dedicated servers is unacceptable.

10 RepliesOK I'm just gonna state this LITERALLY NO ONE USES PRIVATE MATCHES IN DESTINY I mean I haven't really seen anyone really use it that much To me the people who crying and complaining about this reminds me of sjw`'s (sure it's shit that they don't have it) but literally once bungie adds private matches hardly any body will use it and look for the next thing to complain about. However, dedicated servers are a little bit annoying since this is a AAA game (sure till gonna buy the game though)

No change to connectivity problems= no $$$ from many. Lack of dedicated servers will cost them millions. (although using P2P probably saves them more)
