Petition to stop quoting the post you're replying to.
It's really annoying when someone replies to a post and quotes the whole 5 paragraph post to just put something dumb like "this".

Quoting and writing "this" after is redundant because quoting the post with no other context is the equivalent to "this"

I only am annoyed with it when people isolate a single statement out of context. I would never say "I agree with Hitler". It's like pointing out that a wheel doesn't drive on its own, so cars don't work.

I especially hate how ghost quotes and replies, instead of just cutting off where he wants to reply, he just adds a space and puts a hyphen with his reply into the quote. It's a big mess.

If you forget something you can always read the quote section. Its annoying, yes. Its useless, no.

So, being the smart-@ss that I am, I always copy what the person who copied the original post posted, and reply to their post with it, and write, "Edit: Dang, nothing special happened. I thought that's maybe why you guys do that." You wouldn't believe how salty some of them get about it... or maybe you could, if you're familiar with this community. Ha ha!
