I'm in dire need of a new headset. I want something that's all around great. My current headset (forget what it's called) is having issues with not being read as connected and the sound cutting out. Always have sound issues with Battlefield 1 for some reason. The main concern I've heard about Astros is how awful the mic is compared to other headsets.
If not A50s, what do you suggest? I'm on Xbox One.
Help is very much appreciated.
EDIT: Okay so I think I may get the A50s and test them out, and if I don't like them I'll check out A40s. If I don't like those either, I'll give these other suggestions a try for sure! =) Thank you everyone for all the help. Suggestions are still welcome.
EDIT: I returned the A50s. Even after firmware updates, the mic sounded kinda bad and had some slight buzzing in both ears. :P Could have been a faulty pair, but I'm gonna hold off on a super expensive mic for a while. Now I'm going to sort through the cheaper suggestions below. =)

4 RepliesI have the TB 800s and the newer 500s I prefer the 500s. The 800s sound amazing but they are tight fitting whereas the 500s apply less pressure to my big old noggin.

1 ReplyConsidering in getting the Logitech G633 or G933. Heard you might as well get the G633 for Xbox as I don't really use my PC often. Any help?

5 RepliesI still use a Polk headset

7 RepliesI've had A50s for a few years now and I think they're a good choice. I sometimes get a little buzz in the headphones when the mic is in use, but apart from that I've had no issues, the mic is crystal clear and the headphones pump out some powerful sound. Best headphones I've ever had by far.

1 ReplyAre there any xbox one headsets that are comparable to the Sony gold headset?

5 RepliesA40s are great until you need to unexpectedly buy a new cord.

9 RepliesMy turtle beach 50x are really good. Got the matching set for my PS4 and got my brother the wireless PC model. No complaints.

4 RepliesI have A40s and if 100 feet of cables everywhere and a tin can sounding mic don't bother you then go for it. But honestly save your money. Astros are only good for PC. Microsoft really needs to put in usb mic support so I can use my Blue mics.

3 RepliesJust get A40's

3 RepliesNot sure if they're usable on Xbox but HyperX has some bitchin headsets.

5 RepliesI've had A50's for 2-3 years now. No complaints. Sounds great and very comfortable.

3 RepliesA40s are probably your best bet. Had mine for a year and only needed to get a new cord
-
7 RepliesNo. Astros a50 has issues that the company apparently just refuses to fix. Mine only lasted 3ish months before I had to send it in.

8 RepliesAre you on a couch or desk and how long do you game for at a time

8 RepliesNo. Not on Xbox, A50s have mic issues that Astro have negleted to fix since 2014, even the new refreshed A50s have the same issue. A40 may be a better buy if it doesn't have the same issue.
