Do You Guys Have Any "Unique" Play styles?
Do you guys have play styles that confuse your opponent because it is rarely used? Mine is that I jump around a lot. I know it doesn't sound that unique but when you see me play I'm very rarely on the ground for more than 5 seconds. Whenever someone rushes me I jump back or to there side so I could confuse them. Also in every gun fight I'm in the air. One of my best friends said "Hack I hate fighting you because I never am able to aim at ground level no I have to look at the -blam!-ing sky". So what do you guys use that is unique in its own way. I'm also talking about builds that have armour which complements each other along with perks in the subclass tree.

8 RepliesStorm caller High cal clever dragon Range finder matador Ophidian aspects, all the usual stuff but here's the kicker Playing trials, absolutely lock down a room with another 2 storm callers rocking electrostatic mind and memory of skorris and then back to back super them every single round until the game is over. It's unusual but it works pretty well.

This has lead to a lot of deaths, and a few attempts to melee the last sliver of a bosses health away. I also use basically nothing but fusions in crucible but that's not very unique. In pve I tend to slap my enemies with my magic space hand while using gloves with snap discharge.

I have a really evasive play style , always blinking, if I'm on the ground I'm usually sliding. Extremely good at escaping unwanted fights.

I use the Bones of Eao + better control combo which is basically like having Twilight Garrison in first person. It's really good if you got a shotgun and are playing against shotgun rushers. Just jump back when they shoot and then jump forward to shoot 'em back.

I personally like to get sniped behind cover so that we can have one of the players from the other team highlighted... then, watch them teleport to shotgun range and kill who is reviving me. This tactic always works. Also, getting kicked to orbit during trials always helps out my kd by not dying during the match.

I've been using an Icarus build with my Vampire Voidwalker using Ophidians and Axions. My weapons: Palindrome with Sureshot Icarus, Rifled Barrel, and LiTC Each New Day Fusion rifle with the Reflex sight, Icarus, Smallbore, and Hotswap. I usually prime an area with an Axion, fly in vertically with my fusion half primed, and hopefully voop someone into oblivion. If the initial voop doesn't kill them I will just jump again and finish with a Palindrome crit. The best part is that the axion bolt can keep multiple people's attention.. Usually I will finish someone off before it hits them but it's good insurance and will regen your health/grenade if they don't avoid it. You can literally just zip around the map from the air using this build. It's so much fun.

I like to bait corners and jump back and float on my warlock and send a scatter nade at someone's feet as they come around the corner, almost always kills them or leaves them one shot, it works extremely well on shotgunners

13 RepliesI use bones of eao on Nightstalker with better control jumps. Sends you flying to side further and higher than twilight garrison and it confuses your opponent so well that you can easily out play them

I like to catch bullets with my face. It isn't effective, but it ALWAYS works.

I use Ahamkara's Spine(Exotic Hunter Gauntlets) and maxed discipline to blow my enemies to smithereens. 2 Tripmines with extended time. Always funny to see someone in the kill feed die to one of my mines, there's at least one devil may care player in pvp so I get on average 2-3 Tripmine kills per match.

When i play on my Voidwalker or Bladedancer I blink backwards a lot and this throws people off all the time. I use a fusion rifle instead of a shotgun so I rush corners to bait shotgunners and then blink backwards so that I'm out of their range and I'm free to blast 'em with my Saladin's. If I'm on my Titan then ill skate backwards but its not as effective.

5 RepliesUnlimited scatter grenades, or shinobu vows, my friends get so mad. Even the chilliest ones that never rage get irritated. They usually end up switching to a hunter with shadestep or blink 😭😂😊

I run and hide a lot. No, just kidding. I started using Trespasser a lot in the last few IB's. It's fun to waste charging shotgunners!!
