Do you guys have play styles that confuse your opponent because it is rarely used? Mine is that I jump around a lot. I know it doesn't sound that unique but when you see me play I'm very rarely on the ground for more than 5 seconds. Whenever someone rushes me I jump back or to there side so I could confuse them. Also in every gun fight I'm in the air. One of my best friends said "Hack I hate fighting you because I never am able to aim at ground level no I have to look at the -blam!-ing sky". So what do you guys use that is unique in its own way. I'm also talking about builds that have armour which complements each other along with perks in the subclass tree.

1 ReplyMy unique style is marking sure I'm in the wrong place at the wrong time to continually mash the "x" button on my controller. For example, spawning into the same roaming super 3 times in a row. Spawn, take two steps, die, repeat x 24! Follow friends around the corner and then proceed to get lit up by the enemy team, they obviously think the guy in the back is the biggest threat. Catch the random grenade you throw across map with my teeth. Decide to push when enemy team has their super. Use super come from around cover just to get my face blown in... These are just a few... I could go on but this is my "style" as the extremely unlucky Guardian.

I don't use the highest RoF Pulse Rifles or high impact shotguns... does that make my playstyle unique? XD

2 RepliesI use Voidwalker. Does that make me a snowflake?

I call bullshit on everyone here, there's no different way to play destiny, this isn't Battlefield or even COD.

I start doing the Dance for Thriller. Everyone is so intrigued that they join in, and convert the map into a dance floor.

1 ReplyI like to keep using high points for advantage. This can be dangerous if you aren't aware of your surroundings since you are exposed. If I'm exchanging fire in a door way I will slide to left or right then jump up over the opening to the opposite side to switch angles when they come through trying to turn where I was. They go left I blast them from the right. Coming around corners while airborne messes with people too. They see red coming and expect you to be rounding the corner...if you are airborne many times they don't even see you.

I run agility over armor. I cannot stand not being mobile. And yeah, I pair that with with jumping too. Today I had a pretty good run of ditching my super for the artifact that gives double grenades/melee, and pairing that with frostees.

Wait for enemy to make a mistake. Die. Stand by for Ghost resurrection. Repeat as necessary.

8 RepliesYes. 1) Crush your enemies. 2) See them driven before you. 3) Hear the lamentations of the women.

I cover myself in mayonnaise, put my balls in a mason jar full of mountain dew, and only look at the tv through a mirror because I'm afraid of the electromagnetic rays but am addicted to video games so I do it anyway. Is that weird enough? Oh, and I wear a Harley Quinn wig.

1 Reply1) Die a ton. 2) Get kills with Super. 3) Tbag. 4) Repeat. Seems to work pretty well for me.

Edited by WormChi: 1/21/2017 6:41:25 PMAnnihilate bloom max agility Voidwalker with nothing manacles and tier 12. I love confusing rushing strikers only to blink by them and then backwards over their head and then drop a grenade on their face.

Whenever someone rushes me i jump over them.

I don't think jumping around a lot is that unique, I just think it's a sign of a good player. A lot of the better players in this game use their vertical space to confuse opponents. Obviously, it's a little bit harder with Clever Dragon because it has pretty awful in-air accuracy, but if you ever watch PvPers using Shotguns or Hand Cannons they'll usually be jumping around all over the place.

When the other team gets campy on maps such as a Pantheon or Frontier, I just max my agility, go invis, then shotty/fusion the hell out of their positions. They are usually camping so hard that they never see it coming, even though I continue this process as long as they camp. Sometimes they eventually get annoyed and move.

2 RepliesI SNIPE WITH A PATIENCE AND TIME. IN THE BACK OF THE MAP. HAVING PATIENCE AND TIME. AND WHEN I SHOOT SOMEONE IN THE FACE , THEIR TIME WAS UP BEFORE MY PATIENCE WAS UP.

3 RepliesPlaying PvP as a Sunsinger. Yeah sadly that makes you kinda unique these days.

I'm a very aggressive flanker. I usually take long winding routes to throw off expectations and then start peeling away at their backline. Sawed off three snipers' heads in Frontier this way in an extremely sweaty affair that I lost for our team because I didn't do as I usually do and reload after every encounter. 75 points. It still hurts.
