Do you guys have play styles that confuse your opponent because it is rarely used? Mine is that I jump around a lot. I know it doesn't sound that unique but when you see me play I'm very rarely on the ground for more than 5 seconds. Whenever someone rushes me I jump back or to there side so I could confuse them. Also in every gun fight I'm in the air. One of my best friends said "Hack I hate fighting you because I never am able to aim at ground level no I have to look at the -blam!-ing sky". So what do you guys use that is unique in its own way. I'm also talking about builds that have armour which complements each other along with perks in the subclass tree.

Using a primary

I tend to always jump jump blink jump jump blink.

2 RepliesI go for stupid shots in hopes that in the unlikely event that they land, the opposition will be detrimentally demoralized to the point that their combat effectiveness will be substantially diminished. Here's a somewhat recent 'tage i put together on the xb1 if you're interested. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/IIvIIyGunUrHead/video/23602621

Equip any armour that grants + machine gun ammo, plus fr0st boots with the + heavy perk, for a hunter. You'll wind up with 160 rounds to Super Good Advice, and about 130 rounds for Abaddon/Nova Mortis/Thunderlord. Take your MG into just about any PvE activity, pop a heavy synth and let the festivities begin. I highly recommend SGA, as missed rounds are more often than not returned to the mag. Sort of a "can't miss" type situation. You'll most likely pick up additional heavy within the five minutes it takes for the heavy synth to cool down. It also works like a charm in PvP, even without synths. I rarely ever use any other heavy weapon these days.

Yeah, my secret tactic is that I shoot the ground while Teabagging and my skip rounds get collateral kills all the time.
kappa
I'm basically winging it every time. Make it up as I go along.

Yes keep all sweaty turd shotgunners at distance take a few steps back. Stops the shotgun rush from happening. Full auto aegis of the reef puts them down quik. Had 3 games friday and only got shot twice from a shotty. Keep them at arms length the shotgun is made pointless and you have the advantage because he will need to flip to a primary and you wont.

1 ReplyI maintain a low k/d to lull my opponents into a sense of over confidence. It will pay off soon.

3 RepliesI don't pick a play style. I adapt. I try not to think dichotomously for it hinders the way you perceive things. That's your life lesson for the day youngster.

Crouch with matador

my unique play style is not playing

Grenade and Fade! Sticky the enemy then jump in any direction. Unless they're sensitivity is maxed they can't track you with weapons. It's great with the grenade and melee artifact especially. Agility also helps a bit with the fading part.

Run a max discipline sunsinger warlock with double fusion nades sticking people. The amount of hate messages I get is extraordinary
I'm very rarely on the ground
I do this. This is good. I like this.
icarus is my best friend
1 ReplyI use this strategy i've never seen anyone else use. First you hop on your warlock and equip stormcaller, after that you equip amplitude on your melee and a shotgun in your special. Now heres the good part, you shotgun someone then melee them from 50 meters.

I hear the make a bon fire, and chill in the bushes is a pretty fun play style. You get to eat smores, and tell scary stories about camping shotgunners and snipers.
-
I like using Skyburner's Annex on the rare occasion that I use my Hunter in the Crucible. That "chance to grant Special ammo" part is pretty good and it allows me to use my fusion rifle more often. I don't see many people use this exotic helmet in PvP.

I use Cauterize.
