  • I have the stuff that matters. One copy of most weapons unless I kept several rolls. I usually keep a set for each character at each light cap. I'll have a set of VOG/Banner/Vendor gear from year 1 for each character, etc. Why would you collect every item for every character?

  • You don't get to decide what does and doesn't matter for anybody but yourself. I want all the available gear sets. Period. I like to collect..which is for me the point of a looter game. That is my way of playing. If it is not yours...great...do whatever the hell you please. But don't tell me I have enough space when I clearly don't. K?

  • You have enough space. Quit hoarding gear you'll never wear.

  • Bbbbut but...I shower and change regularly...ever since I had my make-over and sport that fabulous new purple hair style...and I carefully watch to match my shaders when I do the laundry... Point is...I regularly change my gear sets because looking at the same character is boring as shit.

  • My point is that I believe Bungie creates these space limitations for a reason. You have to pick the items that matter to you and your playstyle and that makes your character more unique over time. I agree with their philosophy. If you feel like you don't have enough space, that's your problem and I won't disagree that you feel it. No need to be upset.

I don't agree with their philosophy because that philosophy makes no sense what so ever...at all...ever...in any way shape or form. Logically a restriction in space will not lead to greater variation at all but rather to uniformity. It also seriously reduces replay ability because the purpose of the game "acquiring loot" is seriously hampered by the possibility to keep that loot...so that limits the reasons to actually play the game. But it is also proven observably wrong within the context of the game. In fact most people will chose the newest gear or simply keep their old gear in such conditions. Which is why literally everybody always looks exactly the same... All of the gear has all the same options...further disproving the claim that you will keep gear that fits your play style. The only gear that really matters which playstyle you have are exotics...and we have an exotic kiosk. So no. There is no rhyme or reason behind the argument at all.
