You see, you haven't kept up with the times and I had to move on. I'm with Aksis now. He's okay. No swords or anything but he at least cares enough to give me higher light gear. I know I came back once just to see if you'd changed. But you haven't and I don't think i can stick with that... So i have to move on. We've had a h*ll of a time together way back when and I wouldn't have changed a thing. (Except for higher light gear *wink *wink) But Aksis is my new Raid Boss now. My dearest Atheon, It's Bankss, remember me? Time is an inescapable thing, and just like time our bond. You see Aetheon when me and my friends were introduced to you we stood in awe of your towering throne, the Vault of Glass. You gave us and many others experiences and memories many will not forget. You were something different. You were our first. You were greedy, you held on to the things others sought for and gave them scraps so they'd come back another week to obtain light level 30. You had us on our knees begging for your mercy along with templar back in the start. Many would walk in and come out either broken, or with sweaty palms, an inventory of loot, and a smile. But even if they did not make it, you still made them smile looking back. And looking back... you make me smile. Atheon my dear, it's hard to see you get lost to time (Kind of Ironic right?)and while you may be lost, we can always find you in our hearts. Stay true, we hope to see you rise again. After i first killed you, and after you killed me and my team for the hundredth time because you were so OP, I fell off the Prison of Elders scene. You see, you were too aggressive for your own good. And you had some really annoying friends. You know "They are dead, you are not!" And " Yesssss Guardian! Yessssssss...." or "Sylok the Defiled!" You friends were loud and weirded me out. Especially the Warden. Tell him to stop staring at me with that eye of his. It's like he's checking me out or something. It hurt to stay around them for so long. And while Bungie did help you out by trying to reconnect you and our community it seems to have fallen short with me because while this game we live in is a grindfest, I did not enjoy it so much with you. You can call me old fashioned but I'm more of a raid man myself. I'll still miss you though, you were different than everyone else. But I've got bigger and better things to do! Sorry. Stay different. It's just that shipping a letter from Earth to Saturn can be quite a challenge. You see, you were something special. You had the "boss build" strong and mighty and towered over us yet, when we work together we blew you to bits just like your son Crota! He's doing well though just to let you know. I'm gunna stop by his place soon and take him on! Anyway, you see, you were special because you turned a raid into what it was supposed to be. You taught us a valuable lesson and that's how to work together. Something us guardians will hold on to. And you meant alot to me being Crota's father. Sorry I annoyed you when I killed your son but hey, he had some cool guns and things happened so I hope you can understand. P.S.S You gotta hire someone to clean up the Dreadnaught, it's a real mess, there are spores everywhere and dead bodies and thrall poop and I'm pretty sure I stepped in some doing the nightfall today... ewww. To those who are saying that people including I, would only want the raid just for the loot... back when Crota was relevant I killed him 120+ times.
