PETITION!!! To Make Halloween Masks INFUSIBLE or ORNAMENTS!

Honestly Bungie, this was a big request last year too. Some people are going to spend $40+ to get that Werewolf mask. (Happened with the Skull Mask.) All Legendary masks should be infusible.
EDIT #1: For all of you wanting to ARGUE on a petition to GIVE players MORE in this game. LIGHT LEVEL is EVERYTHING, in this game..... Anything that takes away from that, should be adjusted to retain that.
EDIT #2: Some have suggested making all Legendary & Exotic helmets have ornament slots & the masks themselves be ornaments.

There for fun but it would be awesome to be able to wear them for anything but at a cost because it would be to weird if everyone ran around with holiday masks when it's not the holidays. Signed.

You can still troll people in Crucible with them or pull them out for a laugh while doing a jumping puzzle in the raid. They're not armor. This game would look so rated G if everyone was running around with a goofy mask on 24/7. You should check out Little Big Planet. It's a pretty cool game and sound like the type of genre you're looking for. Edit: I just realized you're literally asking for pay to win. No just no.

1 ReplyJust make it so you put the mask on over your equipped helmet...done. You get your silly face and keep your light level....buuuut after the festival is over it is gone, or you give it a timer. Altho glowing giant pumpkin heads and flaming skulls are easier to hit in Crucible...

I DO believe the masks should have stats or light During the event though, for fun crucible, strikes, nightfalls and such.....I assume you mean for this to be a permanent thing, I know you didn't actually state that.

4 RepliesThe idea of the event is to have fun and not worry. We have only had rise or iron for like 2 months if that. Most still arent max light and challenges arent even in the raid at the moment. So relax and have fun with the event. Besides the only mask anyone would relly use is the skull mask from last year and the new firewolf mask as thos look the best.

Frankly they need to make it so you can transmog any armor with any other armor. I LOVE the blue pieces from the corsair's revenge and wolf pelt weave sets, and it would be awesome to be able to look like that without sacrificing good gear. That and the skull mask. i love that thing. I wanted to be able to make it useable (without handicapping) from the instant I got it. Infusion would be nice, but transmogs would be better. I hate a lot of gear I am forced to wear for stats :( Still have a lot of year 1 stuff just for looks.

I honestly experienced when my light is in the ground due to a mask i get more legendary rewards. I wish the mask were infusable so my rewards were at a higher light as well

While they're at it they should change the description for the Terrify emote. "Float and spin" ...wtf is that? Sounds like whoever was making the emote put that description in so they know what it does and forgot to add something to fit its description when they actually make it available to everyone...

2 RepliesReally........................ What this game has needed for a while is a separate fashion system from the armor system. The best they've ever meaningfully offered is shaders which is the cheapest and lamest way to go about it. But yes. They need to etither make the masks infusable or make them a cosmetic item you can wear over your armor.

Yeah it's pretty stupid that you can't use them anywhere but the social spaces because it drops your light so low. Almost pointless the way it is unless you just hang around the tower all day.
